Love the channel cat videos! Channels get a lot of hate and people seem to think of them as a pain in the rear but I have tons of fun when I get out chasing channels and pound for pound they are a hard fighting fish and fun to catch!
Agreed 👍 me and my buddy were just doing some fall fishing on the river with live chubs and had a 2lb channel bite like you would think a 8lb would bite we were surprised too cause it ate the biggest creek chub we had out live and damn live chub was half as big as this little channel cat but it hammered that live chub like a beast! Tight lines to ya! Going out tomorrow “keep fishing never stop”
@@LovingDeantheGodMachine333 yeah they are a blast! I grew up fishing for them in the little town I grew up in and as an adult I still make trips to go catch them, I have a blast doing it! "Keep fishing never stop" I really like that!
You need little bungee cords to tie your poles together use one on your bottom eye attach wrap around attach again to a different eye then do the same thing mid way up your pole best thing I ever discovered
@@hookedcatfish I’m telling ya bud they make it 10 times easier also taking your sinkers off your sinker slides makes it easier too they don’t get all twisted

They say microwave hotdogs 1 to 2 minutes. Then put a good amount of garlic powder and Kool aide powder. Let mixture sit in the fridge a few days, and it suppozedly works. I'll make this mixture Tuesday, then use it Saturday to try my luck.
I like watching ur videos deffintly ur flathead videos and also yea if u wanna catch more fish use smaller baits but if u want a Moby then obviously use bigger cut bait 🤙🤙🤙 like to see another flathead video maybe 1 pound live carp special
Thumbs up, haven't even watched the video yet. Props for bank fishing, walking to the spot & draggin gear. That's the only way to fish
It's best to have knee high rain boots or hipwader boots. That way if tides low you can head out to cast rig out a bit further.
Great video man. Channels make great burritos 🌯.
Fish On !! Mr. J. getting the channel catfish from the bank , nice fish

Where is this
Nothing better than spring kitty's. My area they like creek chubs, not always easy to get but worth the effort.
What reel is that with the gold on it
Put a bell on rod guide, so you dont twich your head so many times.
Absolutely! We use them catfishing and surf fishing. I have even started using them spider rigging for crappie.

Caught some bull heads it looks like an channel catfish
I think I've been using too big of pieces of cut bait
Very common mistake. Sometimes the cats don't want the big cuts. Always try downsizing your hook and bait
If cut bait ain’t biting, try some chicken liver
Never fails to get at least some nibbles lol
