  • The past 30 years have seen Nick Helleur venture to the continent in search of freedom and great fishing. Traveling abroad need not cost the earth, and you don’t have to take weeks on end of holiday leave to enjoy it. Within a short hop across The Channel there are so many great venues with some incredible carp to fish for. We join Nick on such a venue, a historic Belgian syndicate, away from the crowds, that contains some truly wonderful carp. Nick leaves no stone unturned, describing his simple tactics that have led to the downfall of many a European giant.

Need to Nick and Tel together for a film. Could watch those 2 all day, reminiscing abt fishing the mere together for the black mirror and the canal as well as the thames(they both got boats) that would be a great film TA. Get on it

Love it love it love it. Been saving this vlog of Nicks, with lockdown in force. But couldn't wait any longer to now watch it. Sat indoors with aching cheeks from smiling right the way through. Just so refreshing to watch, and Nick's passion is more than infectious. On just fishing and enjoyment, big or small don't matter just experience and wellbeing. Moving towards this type of angling just love the solitude, and ability to take it all in without interruptions. Only wish Nick could put pen to paper once more, loved his book but left me wanting more.

As if he didn't know the depth and best location beforehand. Jeez these videos... Like anyone can turn up and catch 30's and 40's by accident! They're promotional videos and I'm yet to see one whereby they don't catch; which is utterly removed from what the rest of us experience! Great video editing and love watching but the depth map at 20 mins in was just eyeroll.
