Linear Fisheries is without doubt the most famous day-ticket fishery in the country, and with good reason! There aren’t many other places with such easy access to huge numbers of big fish. However, they don’t give themselves up easily, especially when they are under constant pressure. We join Myles Gibson on the banks of St John’s for a winter session in some seriously testing conditions. Huge amounts of rainfall prior to his visit cast a bleak outlook, but his perseverance payed off in the end!

Bla bla this wind that wind 300 spombs 20 kilo of free bait try this rig try that rig bottles of liquid at 12 quid a pop where is the art in that! Oh and another few kilos of bait, let's go to linear for 48hrs with 500 quid yeah great angling really worked that out load it in and smile at the inevitable result. Prob jumped the fence and pre baited
