Thanks 🙏 the only one I would even consider is the 430, but even those are looking dated. The 460 looks better. All the other cars are repair headaches.
I got a 2009 Jaguar XF with a supercharged V8 back in October for about $12K with only 75000 miles and I'm loving it so far. One of the best car's I've driven and during the time it was released reviewers ranked it better in performance, handling, and style than an Audi S6, BMW 550i, and Mercedes E550.
@@BrogodHuncho That's going pretty cheap. Even the base models with the naturally aspirated 4.2L V8 were going for $8-9k KBB value. You might have found a great deal, but you'd definitely want to get it looked over by a mechanic before buying to make sure everything is ok. Make sure there is no timing chain rattle either. The timing chain tensioners can go bad if the engine has been neglected. It is very sensitive to dirty or low oil.
@@lilwalgreenscoldandflu6968 I am 2 years in and at about 90k miles now (put on 15k miles since buying). The only issue was an EVAP vacuum detection pump, a $135 part and an hour and a half labor.
I love how the Maserati Granturismo looks. I even use it and the Alfieri Concept as an inspiration for my fourth semester transport design project which I got quite great grades on it.
so basically i got a 328i 2011 a few months ago as my first car and highkey great car with pretty good preformance, got mine with ~100k miles and sport trim for 7k
My own 1999 Mercedes E320 Black exterior Beige interior actually looks pretty rich, pretty similar to that jaguar actually, 4 headlights, mercedes badge, a nice ass engine and a nice hood, a big sedan, very comfy, good looking, and mine is a special one cause I got aftermarket headlights and White LEDs everywhere, interior and exterior, looks classy rich and cool.
Good video, I like the way you mention the repair costs normally associated with certain cars. VERY important to remember! Do your research on maintenance costs and reliability factor before you buy anything. I did my research 4 years ago before buying a supercharged Mercedes SLK R171 in obsidian black. I planned it for a while and did my research. Its never let me down, turns heads, it can do over 150mph and the top goes down! Best car I've had to date, and its always best to buy a convertible in the winter months when prices drop. They become like gold-dust in the summer. Another pair of VERY classy cost effective cars are the BMW model Z3 or model Z4.
I’ve always been wary of English, German, or Italian autos because of maintenance and parts. But l love the luxury and performance. How do you guys feel about buying a car like that but having a warranty like Carshield? Good idea? Would you do it?
There’s a reason why these cars are worth this much, and lose over up to 5 times there value. Almost all the brands on this list are unreliable, a require expensive maintenance
I have an ls430 and I put new wheels on it lowered it a little and gave it some better brakes and coilovers my next thing is to maybe (becuase it has a v8) to supercharge it supercharged ls430 lexus luxury sleeper!
Do you have ANY idea what the repair costs are on these vehicles? They are cheap because the CANNOT be kept running at a reasonable cost unless you do your own work.
I have a neighbor that has 2 he's always I mean always has them on jack stands through the night. For god sake do NOT purchase one of these crap boxes. If you do remember my comment and reply back please
CTS is a car made on the Camaro plattform, so it does handle really well and you can get one with a seized engine and spend some money on it to fit a V8 engine (almost any vortec or LS will fit directly, just make sure you have the whole package cuz the transmission changes from v6 to v8 as well as the computer)
Now, the only one that screams rich here is the Maseratti, but absolutely all of them will take you from a broke guy to a homeless person living in his car and eventually not even being able to drive it. There is a reasson for all of those to be so cheap to buy...they are full of problems and the maintenance costs are through the roof. Maybe the only cars worth the try are a BMW 3/4 series with the B58 engine and a late model Infiniti Q50/Q60 with the 3.7 liter V6. Those 2 cars had really great engines and transmissions. The horror story will begin when yoj have to replace something in suspension, steering or brakes cuz there is no cheap line model from annother brand that shares any of that with them. If not, you are better looking for a cheap 2013 suburban in great condition. Those cars were and still are purchased by wealthy people (not rich, but mildly wealthy) as their family cars. And that model still looks quite current surprisingly. They have a great v8 under the hood that will give you teouble only 1 time in your life, you will have to rebuild the engine basically and take out all the AFM system, and then you will never have a problem again with it. Transmission is great as long as you dont use it to tow heavy and the rest of the compknents regarding suspension, steering and brakes are cheap, available and super durable since the platform is shared with, yukon, escalade, tahoe, sierra and silverado (and the last 3 were sold as fleet vehicles, making everything super cheap due to mass economics). The fact is that, if you want a premium car, be ready to pay premium prices and if the purchase price is low, the maintenance and repair costs are gonna charge you those savings down the road.
The Lexus is by far the safest, albeit ‘somewhat’ boring, when it comes to conservative luxury. But man... that Maserati looks like it kicks butt and takes names. Its too bad the repairs will quickly surpass the entire price of that same Lexus (LS430). Too bad. Thanks for another year of wonderfully entertaining videos. Happy New Year!
Enjoyed your list. The prices maybe attractive, BUT any maintenance, except Lexus (which people easily buy with over 150K miles hint bulletproof) is very expensive. Ex. my ‘01 Lexus LS 430 needed several dash lightbulbs replaced: cost $20 EACH-EACH! I needed 3. Smaller than a pinkie finger nail. Did l mention dealership assault with intent to rob you! Fortunately Lexus engines, mechanics are GR8. Service history a must.
Heya, Happy New Year bro ❤️ Can you do a version of this for first cars in the UK for us UK bros, because we have high insurance that puts us off higher end cars
I know several people who have bought range Rovers over the years. Not one of them had a good experience with them. Brand new or used every single one said it's beautiful inside and out but you just can't keep them on the road.
Yeah man a lot of people think that BMWs are for rich people, while in reality, they're not because they're very common, and I see a lot of them on the streets where I live.
I can tell you one thing, If you’re looking for a cheap car that makes you look rich you’re not going to be able to afford to repair it all the time especially if the repairs are four figures in the boat for the most part. This is why the Lexus is the best and only option you have. The street six BMWs are OK but most of the engine and cooling system is made of plastic and will crack overtime. The Mercedes S class and the Jag are a definite knows sense they just cost so much to keep on the road. And I’m not even gonna talk about the range for the Maserati. I know it they said the Maserati isn’t that bad compared to Alexis it is that bad.
If I had the ballz I would probably buy one of those cheap luxury vehicles. However since I will buy my own car at some point, I wouldn't risk buying a cheap luxury car that is going to break down all the time trying to get to work. Yes I do work everyday as a Facility Cleaning Manager that requires me to have a car driving.

Toyota makes great quality vehicles made to last.

My first car is gonna be a 1989 camaro it’s in my front yard it needs a new battery as wheels up it’s very nice
Except the Lexus, the other cars are not cheap, they’ve severely depreciated. This is usually due to poor reliability and high cost of maintenance.
