Portable air conditioner in sleeper

Needed an option to keep the cab cool while we're parked overnight in the truck stop. I didn't want to idle the truck all night for the air conditioner. Picked up a small portable air conditioner from home depot for $280. My 2200 watt predator generator will run the air conditioner and the fridge.No problem. as long as it isn't in eco mode.
I'm gonna head to the shop and make an airtight window mount for the vent. Just wanted to make sure everything would work first.
I might actually end up running my 3500w predator. It has a much larger fuel tank and will definitely last us the night. My small predator might run out after 5 hours at high idle. #boondocking #hdtrv #hdt #volvo770 #roadtrip #truckstop #semi

Where did you get the piece for the window

Best setup,simple and cheap that’s what I’m going to do in my truck,just a bigger generator with remote start.

Be sure to wrap the exhaust hose in a Beach towel. It gets hot. Like having a heater in there.
