Portable Air Conditioner in Semi

Needed an option to keep the cab cool while we're parked overnight in the truck stop. I didn't want to idle the truck all night for the air conditioner. Picked up a small portable air conditioner from home depot for $280. My 2200 watt predator generator will run the air conditioner and the fridge.No problem. as long as it isn't in eco mode.
I might actually end up running my 3500w predator. It has a much larger fuel tank and will definitely last us the night. My small predator might run out after 5 hours at high idle. #boondocking​ #hdtrv​ #hdt​ #volvo770​ #roadtrip​ #truckstop​ #semi​

I held a large piece of paper up against the window and traced it out to make a templet.
Then I spray glued a thin piece of plywood to a piece of one inch foam board insulation.
Cut it out with a bandsaw and drilled a hole for the vent.
The plywood gives it some rigidity and also something to screw the vent to.

How are you powering it? I’m looking to get the same set up for my truck and not sure if the inverter will be enough.
