Shyheim had superstar talent young. Guidance is so important. he literally had no one but the streets. That said he did a lot for the cards he was dealt.

His whole swagger, always kinda reminded me of a little Method Man. His rapping style was kinda like Nas meets Pac. I wish RZA had taken him under his wing better back then. I know he was closer with the Stapleton "GP Wu" rappers, but it would've been nice if he had better guidance from actual Clan members. He rapped alongside 2Pac, Biggie, Big L, Jay, Kane, obviously Wu-Tang and more. And he was in TLC "Waterfalls" video, tv shows and movies, this dude should've been a way bigger star.

    • @jaimainelee3609

They should’ve stayed tight with Wu-Tang Clan. If so,they would’ve still been around. Same goes for the Umc’s. Kool Kim a.k.a. Nyoil went to the same school with Method Man. They should’ve all had the Buckshot of Black Moon mentality. When Buckshot came out,he put all of his people’s on which gave birth to the Boot Camp Clik.@@jaimainelee3609

Every major music entertainment platform that's on UA-cam should tell his story because he's a part of hip hop history just as any other young MC coming up! Imo his first 2 albums are instant CLASSICS! He's been out of prison for nearly 3 years now. As far as I remember he's been putting together an audio book about his experiences in the industry and in prison. He as of lately been putting out singles here and there. So he's been keeping his nose clean handling his business and staying away from drama. We've been losing our hip hop heroes since this year started. I know that we're all going to die before our time and it's unavoidable but we hope that we don't lose Shyheim. He has much to fulfill. God bless him and best of luck! 🙏.

Hard to Earn also came out in 94 which is fuckin excellent album. Gravediggaz first album, Kieth Murray, Dare Iz A Darkside which is really underrated now, Artifiacts, Organized Konfuzion the stress album, Bone Thugs first album and Craig Mack, Beasties Ill Communication plus Digable Planets :Blowout Comb which is probably the most underrated hiphop album ever and one of my favorites ever. That year had some real big all time great albums that had mainstream success and some that had underground success and started the rebirth of the underground rap renaissance. There are also SO many singles and underground releases from this era that are absolutely amazing and got almost no recognition . People without shoes, Parallax , RBL Posse , Dream Warriors, Magnum Opus, so many others its insane. Also let us not forget that two shelved albums from 1994 that were hyped up and never released began the careers of 2 of the biggest names in underground hiphop. The Whooliganz unreleased album would of came out in 94. The Whooliganz was Alchemist and Scott Caan. They were discovered by Cypress Hill and added to the Soul Assassin lineup on tour and signed with Tommy Boy but for some reason it was shelved. Also the group called Crustified Dibbs which was also a duo with RA The Rugged Man and Da Nigga Niles. That album was most likely shelved because of how completely fuckin insane RA useta act back then and unlike ALchemist he was black balled from the industry because of it until he created his own path back through the underground just like Alchemist did. Anyway there was alot of history made that year. Also there was Shaqs second album. LOL. I personally rate 95 as the greatest year in hiphop history but 94 isnt far behind.
