A friend of mine installed an in-out valve in a softener, but we needed to glue the diffuser to the valve to stay in place. Do you know if this can cause an unevening distribution of regenerant along the resin, or if the valve isn't the right one?
Hi, an in-out valve would not allow you to regenerate the resin. Normally the strainer would clip into the valve head but the in-out heads are not designed to be backwashed so they don't have a place for the strainer to clip into.
Hi, A vessel is usually just one part of a custom setup and it will depend on the solution for your specific water. There are some people who just put a sand and carbon vessel on any water but for most situation this is a very bad idea.
Is water supposed to be in my softener? My softner is half way filled when i am pumping to my utility tank
