just opened steam, drunk asf. had an update for this game and remembered how fucking fun and cool this game was. decided to look up the speedruns for it and man this is truly something, insane how people find this stuff. good shit man this is sick.
I seriously don’t get how the speedrunning community for this game is so small when it’s got such a cool and glitch filled any% route, more than some of the most popular speedrun games out there. Not to mention this game was very good/well received and had really high sales across the board. Incredible WR!
Thank you! We're a pretty small community, yeah. We have a discord, there's probably 20 or less active runners. I'm hopeful the game will get more action sometime in the future!
@@Slash687 Nope it still works and on all platforms. It's a glitch carried over from the first game, Fallen Order. In the game all you have to do is have opened photo mode once while the game is open, then either pause menu on console or hit f11 on PC and it'll phase you while the game lags!
Jesus christ this run is crazy. I know this might be stupid to say but like some sort of explanation of why ur going to certain areas would be sick. Id love to know what all the techniques for this run were.
Thanks! We just found a slightly faster route that changes things a bit so it's outdated, but I do have a full tutorial on this channel if you want some insight into the smaller tricks and stuff!
That is called PE, or Pocket Elevator. When you press F11 multiple times during certain animations, Cal will start oscillating upward and downward back and fourth. You can look at where he is for a brief second and if he's high enough above the loading trigger we want to hit, you force push, which updates Cal's position. So we jump or double jump, then at the right time at the end of that animation as he lands, start doing F11's in rythem. Takes a lot of practice and quick timing to push at the right time. It can also crash the game if you go too high!

this game is significantly more broken than i anticipated. what a fun speedrun
As a Joseph Anderson fan, this video warms my heart
Is the community for this game just not that big? Would've figured the WR speedrun video would at least have a comment by now. Good playing my man!

@@thegameguy7553 I love open world games with quick glitchy 20 minute speed runs like this. Good luck moving forward 👍
@@thegameguy7553 Have they patched the windowed mode wall phasing glitch, and youre just on an older build, or have they really not fixed that? 😂

How does the glitch at 5:10 work?

@@thegameguy7553 Cool!
17:12 you get the fucking story board oh my god....
It's because the cutscene was unable to load because you're not meant to be at that point yet so it plays the placeholder tile instead
lol
Glad to see everyone desperately find a faster way to get out of this game 😂
