Zoro's red scabbards are Jonny and Yosaku. Zoro never went out of his way to find them nor did he ever declare himself their leader but none the less based solely off his strength and charisma they made themselves his underlings and followed him. Zoro simply allowed them to follow him because it was too much trouble to get rid of them. Isn't that exactly how the red scabbards were gathered?
also that panel when oden was sent flying by roger as he was on his way to "kill" him, reminds me of the east blue saga gag when zoro would say that he would kill luffy everytime luffy accidentally sends him flying or crashes into him.
But it wasn't really confirmed. Zoro used the asura but he said he didn't know what kaido is talking about. But maybe Zoro is oblivious to the used of Kings haki
The fact that Zoro met Luffy just because he got lost in the first place shows his luck. Dude would prolly drive backwards in a race and win bc he discovered a secret passage. So yea, if he was the MC, OP would be over in 2 weeks
I remember someone saying that ''The Dark King'' is a saying in the Japanese language that signifies the one that could be king is in an other king's shadow or something in that vein but I'm not sure.
cool idea, he does act as the shadow of Roger. I always thought he was called the dark king cause he would do the evil deeds that roger would not do. maybe the crew needed someone who is ready to do the dark acts
Even if the odds for Conquerors are 1 in a million, they've empahsized that the New World isnt just a place with random distribution. Its a place where specifically the highest concentration of strong people. The odds of a conqueror should thus logically be higher than 1 in a million. Yeah it dilutes it being special, but this conflict symbolically isnt just about being a king above others, but a king above other kings, both larger One Piece story and Wano arc specifcally.
Though he has no aspirations to be a conqueror, his actions made a fleet of 5600(!) people join him and serve under him without his consent. Also, while he doesn't specifically desire to stand above others, he would never stand below anyone.
Luffy just born with this no matter he choose to become king of pairate or join marin or went to revolutionry he was born with it as garp says in paramount war
The thing is Luffy despite all his power doesnt use it to coherce people into following him People CHOOSE to follow him because he has the qualities of a King That might be bastardized into "ruling others" but in Luffy´s case is "being someone worth following"
@@Dizastermaster. true, they are super close.. I just hesitate bc I feel Killer isn't like Zoro and Rayleigh who have a supreme kings ambition but choose to partner and be vice captains.
True. Re-reading the pre-timeskip, they were often shown as a pair and Zoro would often replace Luffy when he's unavailable. They also tagged team every full arc except Wholecake in post timeskip.
Phenomenal video. A lot of research went into this and you delivered your argument incredibly well. I was personally planning to make a "response" to your initial Zoro conqueror's haki video but you beat me to it ! 😊

Here's another Oden parallel: Wano starts with Zoro about to be executed for a crime he didn't commit. Instead, he kills the real culprit, the Magistrate, and is declared a criminal as he goes on the run as a Ronin. This is exactly what happened to Oden his entire life - he gained a negative reputation for crimes he committed while doing the right thing. What's even more interesting is that on Morj's point regarding character regression, throughout acts 1 and 2 of Wano, the people of Wano have been calling Zoro "The Magistrate Killer". I recognize that this is likely because Wano is a closed country and wouldn't know who he is, but I find it interseting that this can also be a callback to early One Piece where the populace at large recognized Zoro specifically because he was the "Pirate Hunter" instead of Luffy's subordinate..

The thing about disposition makes me think... Does Blackbeard most likely not have Conquerer's? It'd be interesting for him to be the outlier among the Emperors to not have it, to further cement the idea that he is a "False Emperor" and how he's essentially cheated his way to the top.

@@arunabhalahiri4931 sorry, it's hard to tell tone on the internet. I'm not sure if bb has the disposition to stand above others, because I don't think that's equivalent to ambition. Buggy or even crocodile is ambitious(although buggy is more opportunistic) but they're not conquerors.
One other thing I'd like to bring up is the fact that Ace had Conquerer's. Yes Ace was a captain, but at the same time, he found what he was searching for in accepting Whitebeard as his father. I think that's something that connects all of the first mate or adjacent crew members. Rayleigh, Katakuri, Ace, and Zoro all have undying loyalty to the one person they believe in most.

In the anime, they have recently been doing a lot of red flashes in the eyes of Luffy, especially when he uses Conqueror's Haki. The same red flash is also specifically being shown time and again with Zoro as well.
the most scary part of your prediction wasnt the conqueror's thing, it was everything else, it was exactly as you said it would happen. luffy adquired advanced conqueror's and he was removed from the picture, although he was still there when zoro unleashed his conqueror, he took a step forward to protect him and everybody else from a combined attack of yonkos. so whats next prophet Morj? usopp conqueror's right? lol in all seriousness, maybe sanji or jimbei will develope it in subsequent arcs

a better argument would be a grandmaster challenging an average joe in his local neighbourhood and bringing said person to a tournament only to awaken his secret chess ability and winning against another master. Keep in mind the East blue is the weakest sea, don't you think it's too convenient for luffy to recruit his first crewmate two weeks after he set out to sea, and to have said crew mate be a conqueror? About Advanced Haki, if you notice each Yonko territory Luffy goes to he furthers his haki. When he went to Big Mom's territory he developed Advanced Observation, when he went to Kaido's it was Advanced Armament .... Perhaps when he goes to Shanks territory and faces him he will develop his Advanced Conquerors Haki or perfect it This also follows the order in which haki was demonstrated by Rayleigh to Luffy during training , Observation then Armament and finally Conquerors

Whitebeard also had Conqueror's Haki and he never gave a crap about becoming the Pirate King or looking for the One Piece. What I found interesting too was that Ryuma was shown eating an "onigiri" in the picture while Zoro has many attacks with the "Onigiri" theme as well as the fact that in the first episode, he ate the Onigiri that the girl gave him. It's a shame you didn't mention anything about Zoro's "Daishinkan" move.
The Pirate King isn't someone who commands all of the pirates in the World, it's the title given to the greatest pirate in the World. So the title of the World's greatest swordsman could also be written as the King of Swordsman. Now he checks all the boxes.
But you could say that because the pirate king is the strongest pirate in the world, he has the ability to command over all pirates. Just like how if u get invited to Big Moms tea party you can’t refuse, because u cant defy her might, being pirate king would allow u do such thing. Like how Shanks stopped the war at marine ford because nobody wanted to fight him. Basically rule by show of force and might,
Not saying he doesn't have it for sure, but Mihawk is the current "King of Swordsman" and hasn't shown any signs of Kings Haki so I don't think this ticks the box so to speak.
@@acethefiredragon8525 It was never stated that the Pirate King is the strongest pirate in the World. Luffy's definiton of Pirate King is "the man with the most freedom in the World". Also let's not forget the fact that Roger couldn't beat the Rocks crew without Garps help, so it could be argued that Roger wasn't the strongest individual among pirates. As for Shanks, I'm pretty sure that nobody wanted to fight him bcs it was pointless to take further losses when Ace's execution had been carried out and Whitebeard passed away. Regarding Big Mom, I think that if she invited Kaido/Shanks/Doffy or somebody of similar strength, they would have no problem declining the invitation.
@@grantisshananaa4906 I agree, but I can't imagine Mihawk fighting on a regular basis & on equal footing with Shanks without having Conquerors haki. I mean Don Chinjao having it, but then not giving it to characters like Mihawk & Zoro who are meant to stand above all other swordsman is extremely unlikely imo.
@@grantisshananaa4906 Personally, I think everybody is underestimating Zoro. If we accept the theory that his eye has some sort of hidden power, then he has yet to show his full power after the time-skip. Seeing as he already owns Enma & may get Ame no Habakiri thanks to his relationship with Hiyori (which would give him ownership of the only 2 weapons known to ever harm Kaido) + the fact that he could very likely turn out to be a descendent of Ryuma (or some form of his legacy & will incarnated) I strongly believe that Zoro will be the one to kill (deal the final blow) to Kaido. It would fit Zoros pattern of cutting seemingly impossible things to cut perfectly. Also I can't imagine Luffy killing someone, while on the other hand it would be in line with Zoro as a character. It would also see Kaido's dream of dying being realized and would most certainly give Zoro the right to call himself the right hand man of the Pirate King. Of course I'm not suggesting Zoro will 1v1 Kaido, just that he will be the one to kill "Kaido the unkillable" . With the current characters we have at Wano/Onigashima, I think it would make the most sense, the Scabards fulfilling their duty as Ronin and avenging their master by killing Orochi. A super nova alliance taking on and killng Kaido & Luffy beating Big Mom 1v1 and thus claiming his status as a legit Yonko.
The way Zoro wanders around for most of the first two acts of Wano reminds me of the beginning of Ryuma's story, where he was basically just a wandering swordsman!
I think people are misinterpreting the “one in a million” quote. Just because, say, two bodybuilders have a “one in a million” physique, doesn’t mean it’s unlikely those two bodybuilders know each other or are friends
Its 1 in a million in the entire world. If all those 1 in a million people go to the new world wherw they supposed to be, you have a much higher chance of finding them, maybe like 1 in 1000
I swear, I watch a lot of one piece discussions but you’re seriously the best. You deserve sm more recognition. Thank you for the effort into these videos, discussions & theories! You really give us a wider point of view.
You don't have to be a leader to have conqueror's haki. You only need to have the QUALITIES and charisma of a leader to have it. So people like Rayleigh, Katakuri and maybe Zoro can definitely have it despite not being captains of their own crews.
I think it has been pretty clear through out the series that while there were powerful characters who could've potentially become the Pirate King during Roger's era, there was something uniquely special about him that allowed him to rise above all of them. And that's also the reason why nobody who's being honest has ever challenged or questioned Roger's worth. So Zoro gaining conqueror's haki would be an indication of exactly that: someone with the potential and power worthy of the title of king, who chooses to follow someone deemed more suited and worthy of his loyalty. A King above all kings.
just had an idea of a mini theory regarding Zoro and his sense of direction. I can try and go back and find each instance of him losing his bearings, but from what i remember, he first got lost in little garden, and then in drum island. those 2 were monotonous terrain that would be hard to navigate without landmarks, so i think Oda hid his getting lost behind the veil of simple misunderstanding. But then in Alabasta, after Zoro's fight with Daz Bones, he gets lost in the town and when marines correct him, he interprets "go north"' as "go up" and climbs the tower that coincidentally he does need to. I'm wondering if there may have been some kind of clue to an explanation in little snippets like this. We know compasses don't work in the grand line, and back in Syrup Village, whether by coincidence or luck or competence, Zoro found his way North to the shore he needed to go immediately after escaping his difficult set back of being trapped on the slope, whereas Oda made a point to show that Luffy got lost immediately. I'm wondering if Zoro, as a kind of a joke or as a genuine trait has some kind of internal compass he's actually using to find his way. Imagine someone telling Zoro in the Grand Line a cardinal direction to go in and predicting how he'd react, the same picture of a compass going out of whack comes to mind. It could be a funny result of a swordsman being sensitive to the Breath of all things simply following the strongest magnetic pull, as if his swords are literally leading him to the next fight or the next island. I personally can't recall any terrible misdirections like Zoro going up instead of North before his fight with Daz Bones either, but he could have been sensitive to this from the beginning. Maybe if we dissect the instances of him wandering we can find whether maybe he's always heading to the center of the current island or in the direction of the next one on the route they've chosen. I'm gonna try and see if there are any coincidences or repeating occurrences like that that could be a clue. Wish me luck!

Luffy eliminates 50000 fodders, zoro eliminates remaining fodders. Now Usopp has no choice but to fight the main boss. Now we can finally see Ussop using 15% of his strength.
I can't remember where, but I saw somewhere that 'dark king' is a translation of a phrase that means something like 'the man who would be king were it not for the king'. IMO it's just naming him as the person directly under the pirate king in his own crew. It's easy to see how Rayleigh could have 'a king's disposition' or 'the will to stand above others' though if you look at what Roger said when they set out together; "what do you say to turning the world upside down with me." Luffy recruited Zoro as a member of _his_ crew, but Roger wanted to set out _with_ Rayleigh and conquer the world _together._ Not a knock on Zoro or anything, being the world's greatest swordsman still qualifies him more than e.g. leading the Happo Navy.
@@kugelblitzingularity304 Yes, but he could have left Luffy after that and would have if he didn't see how Luffy treated the little girl and what they did for the town. Zoro genuinely wanted to join Luffy's adventure by the end of the arc.

He is right though. Having too many leaders usually ruins anything you do because they all want to lead. The only way it can work if they all agree to one thing. To be honest I think Ussop will develop Conquerors haki given that he wanted to fight Luffy over the going Marry. In addition, he tried many times to say he is the leader of the crew and lied about having conquerors before. He also has an innate ability to gather a lot of followers.
Yes and that has been true at times in the past. However, I definitely dont think that is the lesson we are meant to take away so far this arc considering Odens story. And in the context of when Zoro said that quote, it was him using it as an excuse to focus on finding his sword and not to worry about the alliances struggles. I dont think this attitude is meant to be showcasing zoros wisdom, at least not in this context.

It makes sense that the greatest swordsman in the world would have conqueror's haki, so seems fair to assume Zoro will get there. But then we have to assume Mihawk already has it And then we have to wonder if Mihawk is actually yonko level since that would mean Shanks has no real advantage over him

Luffy might get some of that King Primo Torture action and Zoro might round up some samurai by way of invoking the Sword GAWD. This is the seriousness i'm willing to bet the arc is building up to. I think there's a HUGE HUGE reason why even in the anime ONLY luffy and zoro have those transitional things half way in the episodes and nobody else does. I think it's deliberate the same way we learned about Denjiro and Kyoshiro. I just...the breaks man, killing me but the morj content be helping doe..
Unlike someone like Kaido’s crew, who has clearly broken wills so that people submit to him, luffy doesn’t want to conquer his crew they’re his friends. So having multiple on the crew isn’t out of the question to me as luffy would only want to build them up. I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire crew has it at the end of the story, because they will all make a name for themselves no doubt. But my strong bet would be on all east blue being conquerors. Luffy-obvious, Zoro-strongest swordsman(self explanatory), Sanji- royalty(would also be interesting for his character arc with his family), Nami- could be royalty as we don’t know her birth parents, ussop-“great warrior” of the sea and wouldn’t be hard to believe if yassop has it. I wouldn’t care to much if it didn’t happen but it’s my current belief about it
OH SHIT I CAN SEE IT NOW 16:20 Zoro has been wandering around Wano recently just kinda lost and all that while Luffy is in prison. My attention was all on Luffy recently like damn what’s he gonna do next, but there’s two emperors there now. Zoro is gonna have to be the one to step up. If he’s gonna get conquerer’s haki this is the time for it. We’re gonna get thrown a curve ball and zoro might be the one to beat one of the emperors. That’s why he wasn’t there during Sanji and Luffy’s cake island arc. 🤯
Zoro wasn't in Whole Cake because none of the straw hats that stayed in Dressrosa went to WC, and Zoro was used in Dressrosa rather than WC probably because Oda didn't want the storyline of subordination to the captain in Water 7 arc with Usopp repeat itself with Sanji (at least that is what I think)
So you think if Zoro was in WCI then he might beat Big Mom. 😂 Luffy literally used gear4 against her and she just said to Luffy you are so weak. Oda has to use so much plotarmor so Luffy can able to beat Katakuri and you think Zoro would beat Big Mom. And Gear4 Luffy>>>>>>Zoro in power!!!
Hm u wanna bet? It’s clearly Zoro’s arc. There’s a prophecy and a lot of fans are thinking it connects to him. It’s an arc with samurai. Swordsman vs dragon = dragon gets slayed. It’s just that simple. He’s gonna use Enma. Odin’s sword. Gear 4 or not, Luffy still got one shotted. One piece is more ab getting stronger quickly in all the big fights. I’m not overrating him. The fact that we haven’t seen much from him is the reason he’s gonna bring the heat. Honestly an easy clue is the fact that Sanji’s bounty became higher than Zoro’s for the first time. You really think it’s gonna stay like that? Throughout all of one piece, Zoro’s has always been higher. Why now? 🙃

Even if the odds for Conquerors are 1 in a million, they've empahsized that the New World isnt just a place with random distribution. Luffy literally says that he doesn’t want to rule over anything. His idea of the pirate king is all about freedom rather than dominion.
In luffy’s case it’s more a desire to have no one stand above you.
Though he has no aspirations to be a conqueror, his actions made a fleet of 5600(!) people join him and serve under him without his consent. Also, while he doesn't specifically desire to stand above others, he would never stand below anyone.
Luffy just born with this no matter he choose to become king of pairate or join marin or went to revolutionry he was born with it as garp says in paramount war
at some point luffy will unleash the rumbling.
The thing is Luffy despite all his power doesnt use it to coherce people into following him
People CHOOSE to follow him because he has the qualities of a King
That might be bastardized into "ruling others" but in Luffy´s case is "being someone worth following"

@@MrMorj another point to your symbolism of the sun and its meaning in the world of one piece is that Alabasta's national flag is a like sun symbol.

One other thing I'd like to bring up is the fact that Ace had Conquerer's. Yes Ace was a captain, but at the same time, he found what he was searching for in accepting Whitebeard as his father.

It will only come out once he faces an enemy worthy of a fight. Like Captain Buggy, Go D. Usopp or Con D. Oriano.
I genuinely think sogeking will have conquerors haki
Sogeking haven’t been seen since Thriller Bark.
I think Zoro will open his left eye and reveal that mihawk gave him the sharingan
the monkeys might have the sharingan, and it just makes sense. How would they be able to copy zoro's attacks?

Look forward to Mr. Morj covering the future capacity of the Grand Fleet and future straw hats😎
Lately, I've been going into Morj videos like, "What's with the crazy title?" Only to get totally on board right after.
You don't have to be a leader to have conqueror's haki. You only need to have the QUALITIES and charisma of a leader to have it. So people like Rayleigh, Katakuri and maybe Zoro can definitely have it despite not being captains of their own crews.
this aged well lol
Morj also predicted advanced Conquerors haki...
Ofcourse conquerors haki wouldn't be just there to knock out fodders since we've seen shanks physically damage whitebeards ship.

Orbital Nexus You’re right but still i think he’s referring to conquerors haki cuz even sanji said”you had it as i thought”
@@xo-x8141 Nobody is disputing that in the first place. The point is that zoro isn't implying he himself has the ability, just that he needs his captain to be a league above the others.
He did it again, well done my brother!!!

Oda: "NOOOOO"
I don't get oda he writes zoro as a badass and tries to nerf him lmao
@@ChristianAuditore14 oda wants to make it clear that luffy and zoro are on an equal level, but he doesn't want luffy being overshadowed by zoro since he's the main character. that's why zoro was injured in almost every fight pre timeskip, and why he hasn't had a serious fight post timeskip
@@senseihello I do not think Oda wants them to be equals anymore, but wants to show Luffy has control over other conquerors. Zoro does not have both advance armament and observation haki like Luffy. In addition, Zoro has nothing to compete with Gear 4 Luffy. Luffy is going to be Roger who is clearly stronger than Rayleigh but Rayleigh is still a very strong person in this verse.
@@senseihello I also believe they stopped being equals right after gear 2 was introduced, and he fought Ussop. I would not be shocked if Ussop develops Conquerors later in the story.
@@flarmin22 They aren't on a equal level and Oda isn't showing that at all lmao. Luffy fights Doflamingo, Cracker and Katakuri, gets advanced armament and observation haki whilst Zoro strongest opponent is Pica and he gets a sword. Yeah clearly Oda is trying to portray them as equals
Who else thinks Mr Morj looks fly in that sleek Shirt.....
"Too many captains will sink the ship." Sometimes a sign of a great leader is knowing when not to lead, and being willing to step back.
@@MrMorj All Straw Hats have Conqueror's Haki:
1) Luffy - King of Pirates
2) Zoro - King of Swordsmen, Bounty Hunters and Samurais
3) Sanji - King of Chefs and Cooks also Germa 66 Prince of Human Clones
4) Nami - Queen of Navigators, Meteorologists, Thieves, Pickpockets and Burglars

1010 confirmed it. And yeah, even in early episodes, like the Sabaody arc, he already used Conqueror's to scare away the bandits, plus being the future greatest swordsmen, it's only expected he'd have it.
Everyone hyped for Zoro and Luffy from chapter 1010.
I'm just in awe of Morj's knack for storytelling and analysis.
I bet Zoro was actually trying to round up the samurai, he was just completely lost all the time.
It makes sense that the greatest swordsman in the world would have conqueror's haki, so seems fair to assume Zoro will get there.
But then we have to assume Mihawk already has it
And then we have to wonder if Mihawk is actually yonko level since that would mean Shanks has no real advantage over him
There is no such thing as yonko level please understand that
you have a strong observation, after 1010 this video has to blow off
I said why you're giving spoilers before I saw the upload date. Great prediction!
Chapter 1010 . Mr Morj , you are better than Madam Shirley dude. This was the first place I came to after reading the latest chapter lol. Great stuff.
This video aged well
Make sense. He's technically second in command under Luffy like Rayleigh was to Roger.
no lmao. Lufft is technically the second command under Nami
@@dingdongchingchong2957 ur joking right?
@@Abcd-sl1mf everyone who watch one piece knows Nami is a captain lmao
@@dingdongchingchong2957 Your an idiot nami is in no way the captain. If luffy wants to go to an island they go to that island, and most of the time nami doesn’t want to go to those dangerous islands but guess what she can’t do anything besides try and persuade the CAPTAIN (luffy) even though she is the only one who can navigate the ship.
@@ephraimyeboah9293 Usopp is the captain, Luffy is the co-captain
Luffy might get some of that King Primo Torture action and Zoro might round up some samurai by way of invoking the Sword GAWD.
This is the seriousness i'm willing to bet the arc is building up to. I think there's a HUGE HUGE reason why even in the anime ONLY luffy and zoro have those transitional things half way in the episodes and nobody else does. I think it's deliberate the same way we learned about Denjiro and Kyoshiro.
I just...the breaks man, killing me but the morj content be helping doe..
Zoro's instant intimidation before every goon fight is proof enough for me that he always had conquers haki
Morj has future sight confirmed
Aged like a fine wine lmao
"People that Luffy carefully chose" - lul
I wouldn’t care to much if it didn’t happen but it’s my current belief about it
They won’t all get it I’ll tell you that
Man saw far into the future using his observation haki
lol
I remember Shanks showing a form of advanced conqueror's Haji when he destroyed objects (white beard's ship)
How about Genetics that’s why Katakuri has it. When Luffy was in impel down Ivanka said that of course Luffy has it he’s Dragon son
That's lame but I think it's the will of D, Law should be awakening it very soon!
Here After 1010 spoilers .... Mr Morj You MADLAD ... you were right all along.
OH SHIT I CAN SEE IT NOW 16:20
Zoro has been wandering around Wano recently just kinda lost and all that while Luffy is in prison.
And he won't beat an emperor
You're overrating Zoro at this point.
So you think if Zoro was in WCI then he might beat Big Mom. 😂
Luffy literally used gear4 against her and she just said to Luffy you are so weak.
Why now? 🙃
Coming back to this video and seeing that morj's predictions are so damn precise...
