Hainbach style feedback pinging with Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal

So this half arsed tutorial is looking at a technique used in experimental ambient music making quite a lot called feedback pinging.
I am going to look at how dub producers use a variation on this technique which is where where I first came across the principles involved, and show you how I go about implementing it across some of my gear old and very new.
I will even shock horror venture into using an Android app to help demonstrate what is going on....
It is Caustic so I reckon that deserves a pass.
One of the proponents on youtube is Hainbach but you don't need a load of old test gear to set this up. You can get away with a desk and a Behringer vintage delay VD400. I reckon you can get up and pinging for under £50 if you are a bit canny with your spending.
