This work needs a ton of fine black magic powder called coffee, buy me one!

That is the heaviest thing I have ever heard in my fucking life
I would definitely agree. So fucking sic.
Those guitars sound like a train.. brutal
Great way of describing it!
CHUGS
They are BADASS
When i just wanna play some blues but i accidentally ordered 012-062 strings for my guitar, this happens.
so fucking awsome!!! tuuuut tuutttt (train is coming)
It is amazing how clear they sound live
Probably a board mix... Not sure it would sound like this if you're there..?
@@CM-uy4ys it would probably just sound significantly more b o o m y
@@CM-uy4ys man, I assure you, I saw them live here in Italy 3 years ago and they sound way better than this. I couldn't believe it! For me it was the best concert so far, not only sonic-wise
@@CM-uy4ys maybe the live sound may vary in relation to the venue. In festivals you have to follow a schedule and it might be difficult sometimes for the sound engineers to fit all the things perfectly in time into the program that was given to them, but I think they'd sound great even in festivals.
I saw them live at the Alcatraz in Milan, one of the most well valued venues here in Italy, and I was completely blown away by the quality of the sound and the visuals, lights and everything
@@CM-uy4ys I've seen them live two times. It wasnt that clear the first time, cause the Tone guy did a shitty job and my Brother covinced me to go to another concert in another hall one week later. Maaan I was speechless how good they sounded there! Never heard anything like this before!
This is brutally heavy. My dog turned into a werewolf listening to this.
made my day :D:D:D:D:D:D
I turned into a werewolf listening to this
My werewolf turn into an alien werewolf
My girlfriend turned into werefolf... if I had one.
LMAO.....
I still think this band is so underappreciated....especially for the quality product they deliver.
Best light show ever. You are Raiden the god of lightning
ua-cam.com/video/MiSr8iNwWsw/v-deo.html
Ck5 is the GOAT.
I came back here just for the lights synergising with the solo. Fucking unreal
@@andreasroth1123 that's the old one. they have a new guy since a few years
@@iM3rLiNi yeah I've heard that aswell, just think that video is so damn cool.
seriously just cant beleive how fucking good is this, i hear the part after the guitar solo, i know that its coming since im listening to this track for months, and watching this video for a 1000th time, but im still sitting here and simply can not beleive something can be this good, we dont even have words for this, what, the, fuck is that
No matter what anyone ever says they keep sounding better and better
I will be honest. There are several good bands in metal, but meshuggah takes the cake.
If other bands are metal then Meshuggah are the hardest alloy available.
they are just on another plane of existence really
Yup, they're the best, not even a massive fanboy, just fact.
Damn, even the light is polyrhytmic
The drummer's cousin plays "lights" for Meshuggah.
@@jigri_pokhri ur on his channel rn lol
Yeah a dude really plays the lights he has to know every part to absolutely awesome
Meshuggah plays polymetric and not polyrhytmic.
@@dvlart5588 and? just enjoy the show lol
The best light programming in the biz, crushing it my man, crushing it.
Not programming, but actually playing ;)
@@mihutz98 not anymore actually, it is programmed now :)
@@mihutz98 Nope it's programmed now, which just makes it even more insane, trust me. I saw them this July.
could feel the entire planet grooving to their rhythm
Holy Fucking Light Man! Someone this good comes along so rarely....but when they do, it needs to be with a band that is equally rare.
Most likely (99% sure) these are all midi triggered lights. Everyone has click in, at least the drummer does, and the lights are fed a midi sequence based on a bunch of factors, most notably the tempo.
ua-cam.com/video/MiSr8iNwWsw/v-deo.html
Hoollllllld up a seconddddddd!!!
They have a lighting tech. He creates the sequences off the album tracks since the band plays to the clicks live. He definitely stands by and adds and subs different things on the fly though.
@@DiamondLifer so it's a mixture then?
I will always love this band. Even tho it’s edgy and hip to “not like” Meshuggah, I could care less what pretentious influencers have to say. Sabbath is the father, Metallica is the Son, and Meshuggah is the Holy Spirit.
Aaaaand this is how you put on a live performance. Thanks for posting.
I was the cool kid in highschool who showed everyone Meshuggah
...and I'm talking about the contradiction collapse album and none ep
Same.
I was showing Chaosphere and Nothing.
I was the idiot dude who was listening weird music :DDDD
Waitin for a phonecall while lesson cause have bleed on my ringtone, shit 11 yrs...
I have to watch this every couple days. Such a fun song to play on guitar and the light show is out of this world
Please share more live clips like this one
YEESSS
This is like watching a thunderstorm on an alien planet
Exactly!
The sound engineer from Meshuggah always does a good job.
My goodness, so beautifully mixed
incredible light controlling. best band members, best lighting engineer
big respect from SKorea
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS PERFECT!!!!!!!!
This is the best live sound I have ever heard recorded!
Light show effects are so synced with the rhythmic guitar riffs, it's almost awing!
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live and they were without a doubt the tightest band I’ve ever seen live 🤟🤟
Imagine Meshuggah live in a huge venue covered with mirrors
Meshuggah is the Trans Siberian Orchestra of extreme metal
How dare you call Meshuggah an amalgamation of pretentious, non-interesting pseudo-neoclassical motifs that is being elaborated on in the most boring ways possible? Like, I don't want to shit on O'Neill, but TSO was probably his most average work.
So... They take metal and make it METAL?
@@keinname1896 you are the reason people dislike metal heads
*cries in Djent*
This is inconceivably tight.
Fakkin amazing lights (as always) saw you in Hamburg once and you killed me wit dem Lazers! Best Show in my live so far
Thanks to both you and the band and crew for bringing this experience to our planet!
02:58, damn that riff though.
That shit is fuckin sick!!!
Shit this slide bended my existence itself!
"For we bring with us OBLIIITEEEERAAAAATIOOON!!!"
Outstanding. Crushingly brutal, sounds brilliant and the light show is immense. These guys are on another planet
What a massive and high definition mix !!! bet this stereo came straight out this f.o.h midas console, out of this world !!! congrats
Can EVERY live video on youtube be this level of audio and visual clarity, please and thank you? MAN this video REALLY shows me the work that goes into the light show portion of a concert. GOODNESS. THANK YOU for posting this!
AMAZING tone all around. Simply incredible!
Tomas brushed by me in a crowd when i saw them years ago. They were making their way to the bar in a small venue.
I still can't play Clockwork though.
Awesome comment that made me laugh
Awesome, as always!!!
One of the best live Meshuggah videos I behave ever seen! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Unreal. They are really from a different planet. Sound and light are perfect !
Tuve la oportunidad de verlos en vivo y el recital que brindan es impecable. LOS AMO
Awesome sound! Thanks for uploading.
Just can't touch this..love it. Still killing it after all these years.
Those vocals are butter
Jesus Christ,! Did that deserved a re-watch. Brilliant lighting, Edvard, and amazing sound clarity, really loud, headphones, kid asleep upstairs (ha). I'm hoping yourselves, Devin, or Opeth will be touring once this crazy is over. Let's hope our ents/expo industry can bounce back. The number of people I know in rocknroll, theatre, expo, and tv, all having to find quickly new ways to get by is staggering.
I've seen them live a few times... The light accompanies the music so good!
I cannot wait to see these guys.
His voice is amazing! Never disapoint! 🤘🏻
This is perfection!!
Cool! I was there, it was really epic and the lights were awesome
Frequently watching this again and again for past few months and goosebumps every single time. The cleanest and heaviest I've heard meshuggah with excellent lightning show. Especially at 2:58 when the entire show goes complete bonkers for me. Truly one of a kind, utopian experience that I wish can be replicated.
This was the perfect video for you to upload!
I saw you guys three times over the course of a month during June. Tuska, krakow and metal hammer. All three times were just insane out of body experiences. I honestly feel like I am just living to wait for my next meshuggah gig.
Absolutely phenomenal band, will always be my favourite. Thanks for the quality upload, helps to relive the nights.Hopefully there are more!
Olitod that’s exactly what it feels like seeing them live. Out of body experience. You’re spot on.
even though I’m not really a fan of their last 2 albums and the time they take to make a new one is completely absurd, there’s no metal band nowadays that can even lick these guys shoes. Old or new, no one is even remotely close to Meshuggah’s level
yes, because there is only "metal".no question , these guys are tight! but there are plenty of other top-class "metal" acts on level with them, just not in the same sub-genre or style.
Ion Dissonance, Frontierer, Car Bomb... there's more.
Car bomb is cool
I'm definitely open for suggestions. I'll check out this Car Bomb you guys said
Car Bomb's drummer is a savant, just like Tomas
You are my saviour. Best song to have lunch to. Food never tasted so good.
just how could you hold that riff after riffs and many licks for like a hour and still preciesely done so well wow
What do we do when Meshuggah is no more?
Pray for humanitayyyyyyyyyyy
Pray for humanitayyyyyyyyyyy
Pray for humanitayyyyyyyyyyy
Download patch tones and play alongside other dead greats.
Start World War III and dub it to a Meshuggah soundtrack
Hats of to the Sound Engineers! Just Wow... Lightning as always out of this world :o
AMAZING sound recording!
Such a mindblowing experience.... such a different thing at a totally new level. A band unto itself.
Jens is like wine: it gets better with time !
Can't wait to see these guys in November
Holy shit this is the cleanest live mix I've ever heard.
GLORIOUS!!!
That outro gets me EVERY TIME
ridiculously good light show
Insane lighting show. Mind blow.
As a guitarist, I still wonder how Per Nilsson have learn a complete Meshuggah set and does a so great job performing live those complex songs. That's a true lesson of great professionalism and this is very inspiring. And he plays most of the solo in finger picking (or tapping here...), that's crazy !
Julien, please check a video called "COFFEE WITH OLA - Per Nilsson Of Meshuggah, Scar Symmetry & Nocturnal Rites" on the Ola Englund UA-cam channel - he talks about the process in detail. He learned the songs in a couple of weeks, and got it 99% right on the first rehearsal!!! Crazy!
@@michibassdeva oh yes! I knew that Ola had released a video with Perr but I did not watch it. I'm definitely going to watch this ;) Thanks !
@@JulienMarzanoGuitarist did you watch it
@@behindthen0thing525 yes I did !
And I have a ticket to see Meshuggah live on June. Hope this Corona-shit will be behind us at that time... 😑
@@JulienMarzanoGuitarist damn I know right
That concert was epic... My neck hurts again watching this
Meshuggah has always had the coolest light shows. The tech just turns all tge faders all the way up and plays that board like a piano with the music. So fucking cool!
Even the lights followed drum beats. Unreal!!!
"Unedited sound". O.O... I have seen this band live like 8 or 9 times but they still continue to impress me with the extreme high level of musicianship.
With Edvard in the lights, the Meshuggah alive experience is now complete!
Awesome. Thank you UA-cam algo, got it right this time.
this is a better experience than any music video they could have given this song
Please upload more songs from that set!
Just watched them live for the first time last night at bloodstock open air, best night of my life 🤘🏻
Catch me on the beach with my headphones. Destroying sandcastles.
awesome!
The lighting tech is a damn master mind.
If there was an award for the best light operator at metal shows, I'm pretty sure this guy would win.
Nice!🤘
Que hermoso se escucha en vivo
El outro es épico 🤯
I was there, 1st row. Fucking greatest day of my life! Please upload more!
What an good set of light sequencing
HOLY FUCKING SHIT JENS. HOLY FUCKING SHIT EVERYTHING.
My guy Edward always fucking KILLING IT with the light desings!
Light show is synced up soooooo well
holy fucking SHIT man....can you please give us more of this show?! I am utterly effing gobsmacked....
omfg look theese lights, i'm dope
Thunderous precision
Intelligent lighting done right. It is an art that has been lost in this modern age I am glad it is making a come back. In the 90's and early 2000's most big bands did the most with what technology provided. Takes a lot of work to sync things up this well and play to a defined click. I worked mixing live sound and programming intelligent lighting with old DMX connected hardware back in those days. I remember seeing White Zombie live a few times and they always brought a huge light show with them. Hope to see more bands doing this.
The lights aren't programmed. Someone is actually doing that manually. Look it up, it's pretty amazing

I saw Meshuggah open for Slayer in 1999. Been a huge fan since.
My god. Their lights-tech deserves a fucking medal.
Unedited sound? Holy fuckin sheeet!
Bill Burr sent me here, Heja Sverige!
Okay
How?
Bill saw them live, and since he also plays drums in his spare time he was in absolute awe seeing Haake play Bleed. Bill did a little segment in his podcast about it, it's hilarious.
Dude, I'm so crazy right now
