Ah that first wipe is always a shock. When the gyms start using Ubers it gets really spicy to play around. I hope you post more runs here 💜

Yeah… I still haven’t won one of these runs but they’re a lot of fun. Just remember: Gym Leaders run good coverage, and if their Mon could have a type immunity from an Ability, it probably does.
Also the AI doesn’t understand Substitute.

Grand Elder evolving despite not being in the party any more is honestly very in character. Swap birthing to evolution and you get...

My first real shock in this game was when I got Liza at mid level, she threw out a Mew. I hit the mew and didn't KO it right sway, the mew had an eject button on it so my lead was forced to swap, thrn the mew EXPLODED and took out my bulky sweeper without me having any way to stop it

my first loss was dew to a glitch where zapdos would eat its held berry and get special defense boosts thus me losing al but 1 mon then losing to sidney. the mon was mr.mime.
It fits that it's Emerald; since the closest thing to a Pokemon Rougelike is the Battle Pike; in Emerald.
Id personally enjoy this. Ive never tried anything roguelike and I enjoy your energy. Was a fun video.

Gotta say, my favorite running trend that I didn't expect to be consistent is "transwomen adore Froslass." For scientific purposes, my childhood friend (who is also a transwoman) was obsessed with Lilligant when it was first shown off in Black and White, were you also?

I can I understand that, I just thought a hazard setter with sturdy was good for the sweepers(especially blaziken) on your team at the moment, but you may not have wanted a low sp def Mon at that time
