Likewise, I deeply admire her for the many wonderful things she did throughout her life including the fact that she was a member of the United Nations and the fact that she was one of the people who advocated for universal human rights.
The FDR administration probably wouldn't of been as successful as it was if it wasn't for the teamwork between Eleanor and Franklin. Both of them encouraged each other to reach for their goals and accomplish them. As a result, Eleanor became the most powerful and influential First Lady in USA history. She was really Franklin Roosevelt's eyes and ears when it came to the concerns of ordinary Americans. She would write up reports and set them by Franklin's bedside for him to read and report to his cabinet. Truly an amazing woman who helped change the world.
