The cast of Frasier is just brilliant!! They work so well together...it's gotta be more than acting, they truely care for one and other which come across to the tv-audience all around the world.- I miss the show!
Daphne practiced “being American” for a while, in seasons prior. One particular episode was when they made fun of her for sounding like a drag queen, and Niles _hated it_ (altered her attractiveness), so he got her to stop. Daph wanted to be a true American.🤍
I bought the script book for Fraiser. The writing is so perfect the laughs jump off the page. I probably looked like a weirdo sitting alone at the table laughing hysterically into a book.
OMG, I think I may have found my Favorite Frasier scene (excl abt him, not Niles but Roz killed me too) minus the Pistol group one. BMW diamond platinum club... LOL...!!! If I had a 7-series (most likely what F has), I prob would be acting the same. This show is so classic, even 10 yrs later.😄
When the series began, Roz hated Niles. But they did away with that after the first season. The series didn't need that. Roz and Niles' characters were able to develop better without that hate.
Joseph: You mean Niles hated Roz. He was always trying to put her down, although she always fought back. I especially liked the episode when she licks his precious first edition book.... jajaja
I wouldn't say that they hated one another after a certain point...Niles just didn't think very highly over her and she probably didn't like his snobbish attitude. I like their snarkiness towards one another. It's funny and later on, whenever they did have the snarkiness or burns, they acted like friends at that point.
This is A Day in May -one of the few weak episodes of Frasier Season 8's last few episodes is the show at its nadir. Still, even this episode is enjoyable for some scenes . And I really enjoy late late-era Frasier. Especially, Seasons 9 and 10.
I think if she'd said 'boot' US audiences would pause a milisecond and it would have spoilt the timing. I'm sure the 30 writers debated this line quite thoroughly beforehand!
Season 9 has some of my favorite episodes in the entire show. I also really like the characterization of the Cranes in this season. Some of my favorites: BlaZ-Boy A Room Full of Heroes Don Juan in Hell(part II) Deathtrap Wheels of Fortune The Love You Fake The Proposal The First Temptation of Daphne The Return of Martin Crane Moons over Seattle I really like the vibe of the 9th installment. It's spirited too, and family-centered. Even the less notable episodes offer plenty of good character moments I think it's overall much better written than Season 8 Season 8 was all over the place. I know many people don't like Daphne's mother. but I think she's a decent character, and serves as a source of conflict for Niles and Daphne. She does become more broadly comical in Season 10, too.
Sorry I'm late to the party. That's a bit melodramatic. Despicable? He's beyond uptight. 🤣 It's a car. Yes, everyone should respect others' property but he needs to loosen up. Relationships are more important than keeping property immaculate.
i'm sorry but what self respecting british woman would call the boot a trunk. i don't car how long she has been in the states. it doesn't change the fact colour has a u in it.
Thumbs-Up #565 I am, Sunday late afternoon 24 November 2019. If all BMW owners in the California were like the BMW owners in Deutschland where they are made, I would not see so many pathetic looking / sounding ones being driven.
I hate the audio quality on Frasier's opening line. It was clearly recorded separately, but they failed to even come close to matching the rest of the audio.
Barath V I still enjoy late-Frasier, but I definitely think it takes a step down in quality after season 7, until it picks back up again in the final season
@@LukeJones-ib5mq No long running series has ever put out a better final season than Frasier. They knew that was it and went out with a bang. The Patrick Stewart "Gay" episode may very well be the best thing the show ever produced. The weight loss episode is also pretty epic. Then there is the entire Maris the murderer story line, wherein Niles finally told Daphne that she was being a bit of a bitch. Frasier's would be hook up with Jennifer Tilly is also a standout moment for that season. Then of course there is the finale itself. I cannot think of a better final episode for a long running series. It puts the maudlin but much praised final episode of MASH to shame.
@@canalesworks1247 yes but the later seasons were rather less good... less jokes, the putting together of Niles and Daphne inevitabley took away some of the jokes and Daph's family were a mistake

"You're not in the diamond alliance?"🙄 Niles is the best.😁
Yeah, that was awesome. It just absolutely made that scene
Don’t do that!
Literally lol
🤣🤣🤣

She knows him well.

"You're not in the Diamond Alliance?" What a pair of old tarts! Lol

It's like Kelsey and David are brothers in real life.
I love Roz's raspy voice
Cigarettes, Evidently the entire cast smoked with the exception of David Hyde Pierce.
Pat Terson to each their own haha
It's pure yet sultry like a nun with a past.
I never thought her voice was raspy. But I agree, she has a lovely voice.
@@desmondgentle1474 lol. We know who's voice that is. Her tongue could open a wine bottle!
The crane boys made the best snobs. Love this show.

Kelsey grammar always referred to John Mahoney as his father...i think this is why the show was so succsessful!
So do I.
except daphne she sucked.
Frasier's overdramatic monologues before something is so Westminsterian. I have no idea why. 🤣
Niles is simply spectacular when it comes to rubbing salt in the wound!
Roz and daphne were my first TV crushes back in the day 😁😍
Seriously??! Ah tastes differ I guess. To me these are the two ugliest women on TV.
Great writing, great acting.
This programme has forever made me joyously happy, I cry laughing at this show! It's so witty and bitchy :D
My goal in life is to be Niles Crane
Mine too !!!
lol an emergency cleaning of my bmw!
lmao
🤣🤣🤣
So simple yet so brilliant.
N: you're not in the diamond alliance ?
F: don't do that .
@Kinetsie Varvenfloot Those automatically get my down vote, even when, as here, they were my favorite lines.

lets be real for a moment...how could he not have been a member of the diamond alliance
You might as well have said “Frasier being the same difficult person he usually is with his car.”
DON'T DO THAT !
I was sure Frasier's line about "possessions that should be used" was going to be a dig at Roz.
Just so good.
This episode was a really heavy one with Martin and the man who shot him.
Shit was sad af. I hadn't seen it before and I assumed his friend Duke passed

Daphne should've said "boot" instead of "trunk"
because she's British?
Indeed
She's been in America for a while now, by this point.
