VN24 - 28-03-2024 (D/M/Y) - Unna/Werl - Germany - During the night from Thursday (March 28) to Friday at around 11:05 pm, a serious traffic accident involving a coach occurred on the A44 highway between Unna and Werl. A total of 21 passengers were injured. One person was seriously injured. The bus was carrying a group of students from a vocational college on the A44 highway eastbound towards Kassel, on its way back from England to Warburg (Germany), when it veered off the road to the right and overturned in a ditch. After the rescue work was completed, the recovery companies Widliczek and Sälzer took care of salvaging the wreck.

Another long and complicated recovery professionally handled. The fire brigade had their own crane but it is restricted to rescue only.

In the USA there would be at least 20 police. All standing around doing nothing. That means another 20 vehicles on scene all shut down blocking work.
This is the recovery. Not the police and rescue there so how do you know how many police showed up initially? 21 passengers were injured so there must have been multiple rescue and police there before the video. The road is also shut down for the removal.

Wenn der Busunternehmer sich das Video auch angesehen hat - dann mit feuchten Augen! Könnte durchaus ein Totoalschaden sein, aber Fachleute wissen da bestimmt mehr als ich. So ein Bus kostet bestimmt eine halbe Million, so im Laden zu kaufen!
Coach overturnings are thankfully rare as HGV overturnings are far more common & it is a fact that HGVs overturn more than any other type of vehicle including cars as judged by the number of incidents with HGVs on this channel.

The original video shows the path of the bus. It did destroy some guardrail away from where the bus stopped.

Der Bus hat ja hinter der Leitplanke gestanden, eigentlich ist da nicht die Autobahn, sind die Busfahrer alle übermüdet.
Der ist sowieso Totalschaden, zum ausschalten nur noch zu gebrauchen schade 😢😢😢😢

Please advise, what is the roll of the personnel of ADAC.
The Widliczek and Salzer rescue team are totally professional and extremely competent, but ADAC personnel just seem to mill around getting in the way of the professionals.
I've noticed ADAC on many videos but never understood the reason for them attending during recovery.
I understand that ADAC are a breakdown service, I have used them many years ago, but heavy recovery really doesn't need them.

Das Widliczek- und Salzer-Rettungsteam ist absolut professionell und äußerst kompetent, aber die ADAC-Mitarbeiter scheinen den Profis nur im Weg zu stehen.
Mir ist ADAC auf vielen Videos aufgefallen, aber ich habe nie verstanden, warum sie während der Genesung dabei waren.
Ich verstehe, dass der ADAC ein Pannendienst ist, ich habe ihn schon vor vielen Jahren in Anspruch genommen, aber eine schwere Bergung braucht ihn eigentlich nicht.

das WidliczekTeam hat teilweise ADAC Kleidung an,weil es im Auftrag des ADAC abschleppt. Sälzer ist ein reines Kran-Unternehmen,das ei Bedarf angefordert wird und eigene Kleidung trägt.
I guess the ADAC guys brought some special equipment to the crash site, e.g. the screw - on adaptors they are hauling off at 38:30.
