big fan of this 12 hours series. and only partly because i play 12 hours a week.
I use to be a hardcore PK 247. But always loved stealing in 1997-1999. On Outlands I have 4 thief characters, even with the lame timers and nerfs, I still manage to have some fun.. it does take quite a lot of time living in the shadows, finally getting a decent steal. Nice vid!
Oh damn, four! I guess there is a lot of variety with Mage Thief, Dexxer, heck, you could even be a tamer! That's pretty cool :)

wow thanks UA-cam for recommending this. Very nice man! Its really down to experience being comfortable in situations that decide what happens to you. Im a new thief and i get frustrated just walking after people meanwhile here u are stealing from boss fights which is just incredible :D

Started playing Outlands after watching your videos. Proceeded to make a thief, saw you in a dungeon and attempted to steal from the master. I believe you walked over me and saw it time to leave the dungeon xD. Love the videos, keep it up!

I loathe thiefs and PKs in UO. I played in the 90s and only had dial-up so thieves and PKs literally ran faster than the game guards. And I couldn't chase or do anything even though my mage was 100 in Magic, HP & Mana.
Haha! A good memory though! (And a unqiue one!). These days you're more likely to find me killing Dragons instead of stealing mind you :)

Trammie not only inspired me to make multiple thieves, but im still working out and watching what i put in my body as well. Wish he would make a serious return to outlands, but i know he is frustrated with the state of being a red.

I never had a thief, but just the everpresent threat of some bitch ass naked thief that would run off like a sniveling worm and then recall added something to the experience.

It's honestly really easy! The hardest part is learning mechanics or dungeon routes - but i like that. Easy to play, difficult to master.
Yeah, I had a Dead by Daylight channel where i honed my editing style. Lots to learn still! :)

I have never played UO before, so forgive a possible stupid question. Do you take a combat skill too?
Not a stupid question! You're limited to a certain number of skills per character. I forgo any combat skills and fully 'spec' into steaing and stealth. I do have some magic ability, but it's mostly used for healing and escaping.

Yeah, that really does help! I did some Maus stealing at the weekend, and my dungeon knowledge was awful... so it didn't go that well :D
having played thieves too many years back its fun to see this. but always remember: you can ruin someones playtime massively by doing this. its part of the game, i am aware of that, but this does not change that fact. being aware of this is not wrong.

Can I get some tips on your build? What are you trained in? What type of armor should I be wearing as a thief? Thanks in advance and keep those 12 hour videos coming!
Hey fella! Sorry for the delayed response! That is a great list of people to watch, just be careful of Trammies naked saunas 😂. I run 100 Stealing/Snooping/Hiding/Stealth/Wrestle, 80 Magery and 80 Healing, and then the rest in camping for carry weight. Armour wise, I use leather 👍

haha, YES! I have my next 2-3 videos planned, but after that, I really want to do mining (may regret that 8 hours in :P)
im not allowed to Steal :( its not fair, my Alliance don't allow thieves, only found this after i made teh template, mace thief looks so much fun steal their galric or bandages wait for them to attack you n they die

God, I hate thieves! The most annoying class. And I feel like there is no consequences for thieves. They have nothing with them.
Aye, it is quite easy to counter with trapped pouches / lock boxes -- but yes!
