I started the enhanced edition a couple of days ago and this video has been invaluable, Many Thx . Its challenging, runs smooth as butter and looks good.
ua-cam.com/video/71Xi0nN29Tg/v-deo.html If you're trophy hunting or just looking to grab the weapon upgrades, you gotta do em all BEFORE you fight crucix,, otherwise you'll have to get em in NG+2. There a couple etchings and inscriptions you can only get before the fight. One etching is before you run up the main stairs to enter the "dungeon," on the right side before you start heading up thr stairs where the difficult dual-wielding guy blocks your way up the stairs. Another etching is on the right side of the first room with the Seester in it. It's on one of those angled walls with the lights underneath , I tnink it's near the middle. The third is in Dim Gate, hit the center stone slab between the kata wielding dude snd the guy sho wields a spear. To the left of where the Seester is in Sim, past the Weltspore a bit, theres an inscription on a book layig on thr floor. The first Baguette was annoying to find, and the second is also hard to see and a gag drop, ao make sure you before you land. Then there's like 6 inscriptions laying around the archives, before the final seester & Ceucix.I'm pretty sure there are three missable items if you kill Crucix though. I don't recommend you to just spam 1 weapon, when you have the fog active (after beating a boss it's active, or you can do it manually with the guy in front of the giant) you're allowed to pick up items from the little statues in the forest (they'll ve iluminated with an orange light), some of them (I think is any of them after every boss) will give you an ítem to instant change weapon mid combat, allowing you to make some badass combos. My favourite playstile is changing between those weapons constantly, and My favourite combo is hammer and chisel heavy, then hallowed sword heavy, and finish the combo with Martyr's blade light atack, it looks so cool.
The worst weapon is 100% the martyr blade. It doesnt do enough dmg for how much stamina it uses and its abilities are weak compared to others. Hollowed sword is easiest and has best running attack. Hammer and chisel is deceptively strong. Mace is the best by far though. If you want easy mode unlock the smoldering maces awakened ability. Its a three step attack that makes you invincible and does unholy dmg. You can regularly kill strong enemies/ groups with one activation and it usually does 1/3 of any bosses health if you land the full attack

which is the best weapon??
It depends on your prefered play style. I personally prefer the mace as it has a wider range of attack. Easier to hit multiple enemies at once.
