I heard this master pice on lsd and that was one of the best experiences in my entire life. I always felt he's soul and how he was struggling in every album. But on lsd y felt my soul leaving my body.
I had a similar experience but on mushrooms, i stared into the night sky looking at the stars and i felt like i started to fly out there without my body! What a trip :)
I know what you mean all to well, but I think that’s mainly because it sounds so bittersweet. The best songs usually do. The ones that really touch you. They start with despair, run you through a range of emotions, then lift you up in the end, filling you with hope. I think it’s a perfect formula. One well worth repeating.
