Thank you for this video. I am doing research as I am currently doing PRP.
I did my second session yesterday and have one more next month.
To me it’s not painful at all but that’s the only difference. I see no changes on my hair yet ( I know it’s early ) but everybody shows all their little hairs growing and thickness.. and there is nothing here. I am trying to stay positive as losing hair is already a very stressful situation.
Thank you for your honesty and sharing the results.. You are also brave to have tried PRP. You are gorgeous either way!!
Thank you so much! I hope you found the video helpful 💜💜💜
@@CiciCastresana Prp only works if you have underlining conditions that lack your androgenic hormones. It will also only work if you have androgenic alopecia. You might have alopecia areata, another thing to note is that your hair loss is far too advanced
I’m in the same boat. With already thin hair losing a lot per day at 43. I’ve been always losing hair, but it has got to the extreme. My hair is dry and brittle, used to be wavy/curly, now barely holds its shape without products. My scalp burns most of the time. I’ve done tons of research and some things may work for some people, obviously depends on the underlying cause. My bloodwork always shows low ferritin levels despite taking iron. Some people cannot absorb iron well or also depends on the form of iron. Chelated form seems to work best. And don’t take it with calcium.
Here is my list of findings (maybe you find something useful) of causes and some solutions:
- underlying disease
- hormones
- menopause
- stress
- lack of blood flow at the hair roots
- too frequent hair wash
- too many products/chemicals
- low acidity scalp
- gluten/dairy intolerance
- lack of protein in the diet
- lack of healthy fat (like omega-3)
- lack of vitamin D, A, B12, C, Zinc
- lack of digestive enzymes
- lack of good microbiome in the gut (caused by antibiotics)
Remedies:
- gluten/dairy free diet
- scalp massage with oils (coconut, rosemary, neem, brigraj, olive, pumpkin seed) in an inversion (to increase blood flow)
- practice yoga, some asanas (inversion, like downward dog, camel pose) increase blood flow to the scalp
- meditate
- derma needle stamp of scalp
- wash hair less often
- fermented rice or flaxseed rinse (watch out for protein overload)
- sauna
- any kind of exercise with sweating
Thank you for all the information. I completely agree with everything, Hairloss is very individual and affects different to different people. For me is genetics. I am very healthy and have no other issues. So my approach is to accept it and be great full for all things I have rather than the ones I don’t 🥰
@edit varga I also have horrible scalp burning sensations which I know is hair loss as my hair sheds and thins so much the places it burns 😣 it drives me insane the burning so I know how you feel
Thank you for your honesty.
You are welcome 💜
Same here. I’ve had the PRP treatment 6 months ago and I don’t see any difference. Im currently using minoxidil daily and red light laser as well as hair growth oils . I’m very sad that it didn’t work. Iwas told that I would achieve at least 99% of my hair to grow back but I’m still cutting my hair down very short to cover up my male pattern baldness as a woman. I’m not sad but is very disappointed that it didn’t work as I was promised. Luckily I don’t mind my hair being cut short , I actually like it being short it easy maintenance and I get a lot complements with my hair being so short. I agree with you it didn’t work and thank you for sharing your experience. I thought it was just me. ❤❤❤🙏🏾
I've been eating amla (gooseberry) , walnuts cashews, pumpkinseeds, dates and all the foods that have been proven to block dht and drinking green tea as well which is also beneficial for hair growth. I've been eating healthy since 7 days and I hope to continue doing so for a lifetime. My doctor always keeps telling me that all I need is a nutritious diet rich in fibres and vitmins also protiens so I include leafy greens and veggies in my meals 3 times a day and also before sleeping at night I drink 1 glass of milk mixed with 1 teaspoon of turmeric. This is my everyday diet and i feel like I'm noticing a bit of a difference here. Before all these i used to take only minoxidil and vitaminn supplements. My hairloss did improve but once I stopped te treatment my hair started falling again then I started using minoxidil again but nothing really worked so I changed the unhealthy diet I used to have and finally listened to my doctor. Now I'm only using minoxidil and eating a healthy diet as I mentioned earlier. Also having vitamin E 2 times a day bcz it has antioxidant properties. I also use pumpkin seed oil before washing my hair with shampoo twice a day. I know that I have androgenetic alopecia bcz my dad is bald and he started losing hair the same age as mine. I started losing hair when I was 16 and now I'm 19 i just hope my effort pays off.
That’s amazing! Having a good diet definitely helps. Not only for your hair, but your overall well-being. Keep it up!!! Xxx
Are you girl or boy...?
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us...
I am from Bangladesh ❤️❤️
Thanks! I’m so happy my videos reach everywhere in the world 💜💜💜
Love your honest assessment. PRP did not work for me either, I'm not sure what all the hype is about.
Thank you for your honesty.
I have the same issue. Same loss pattern as yours. Thanks for sharing ur experience.
No problem at all! I hope my videos give you some support 💜💜💜
Thank you for the update. You probably save me a lot of time pain and money. Sorry it’s not working very well for you. Have you tried spironolactone for hair loss?
Hi, thank you for your comment.
I recently went to see a private dermatologist and have asked for spironolactone, however, she is only recommending oral minoxidil at the moment. She will be reviewing in the next few months xxx
Hola Cici!
Please leave I comment and I will get back to you! 💜💜💜
Iam also getting bald and it's really depressing..
Hi Pj, sorry to hear that….
Hey don't let it rule your life, I've lost most of mine too but there are solutions out there. I used to let it dictate my life, not anymore because stressing about it didn't stop it falling out.
@@halimak625 your right I just can't stop thinking... Maybe I'll just accept it 😭
@@pjph5585 if its a recent thing it will cause a grievance i know it did me, but ask yourself whats the worst that can happen?? You still have all your senses & limbs intact and with those you can find a solution that suits you... once you do , you will look back on this dark time and wonder why did you allow it to shadow your entire existence, believe me take it from a (once) vain perfectionist ( plus surrounded by very bitchy brethren)... ❤

I have the same problem, my question for you: hair transplant works for androgenic alopecia ?
Hello mam, how has ur experience been with minoxidil?
My wife is experiencing alopecia. She is 51 years old. What can I do for her if PRP doesn’t work?
Did you take finasteride and minoxidil ?
I’ve never taken finasteride. It is linked with breast cancer… my health is way more important than my hair x
Is there more chances for prp to have results when we are younger and aga is still new?
To be honest, i have no idea… PRP seems to work for some and not others.. I’d speak with your doctor or a specialist before going ahead with the treatment xx
I'm trying morphic field these days , why don't you give it a try?
You just have to listen it for an hour , you can hair regrowth blueprint and find those videos.
Thanks for sharing! I’ll have a look! 😉
Cici - what was the outcome on your Tricho Test?
I had a problem with my vitamin a bit apart from that, everything came out fine
@@CiciCastresana And what did the test suggest?
@@acquiesce100 to take Vitamin A, but to be honest, it didn’t make much difference…
@@CiciCastresana Thanks for the honest reply Cici.
prp or minoxidil which is better
Prp did nothing for me. Minoxidil all the way xx
@@CiciCastresanaoral minoxidil 1mg to 1.25mg a day plus 25mg Spirolactone - both off label prescribed by my dermatologist have helped me so far- 6months in on this now 🙏
From where you buy toupee ? Please can you tell me
Hi lavender, you can find lots of beautiful toppers within my channel. Xxx
@@CiciCastresana Can i buy from you ?
If i can, can you send a link to your store
I believe you should opt for a hair transplant!
Hi Jonathan! Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately hair transplants don’t work for women as well as they do for men, so I rather not take the risk when I have to pay £10k
@@CiciCastresana I don’t see why the results wouldn’t be the same for woman ?! Interesting . Regardless I call some popular turkey dr. And see if they have any before and after photos of woman . Even if the transplant was a 80 percent success rate that is still a success . Good luck !
Have you ever thought about doing that micropigmentation thing just hides the scalp color really
Hi! Yes, I have thought about it, but the hair fibers work really well and compared to the micro pigmentation they are inexpensive…
Hi Caci, thank you for your video and for sharing your experience? Can you tell me please what “hair fibre” is and what brand would you recommend please? Thank you 🙏
Did you took only PRP or any other topical solution like minoxidil?
I have been using topical minoxidil for the past 15 years and didn’t stop while getting PRP XX
@@CiciCastresana ohhh wow really 15yr😳 .. thanks for info, womens hairless is on the increase its staggering
@@CiciCastresana you getting results past years?
I am also using minoxidil since 10 years
What is this minoxidil
You CANNOT grow back hair if you could nobody would have thinning/ baldness unless they chose to. People are willing to try anything but other than a hair transplant nothing works. I say save your money and buy wigs or hair toppers 💖
Hi Clara, thanks for your sharing your thoughts ❤️
Clara, Minoxidil grows hair back as does finasteride. Takes time but it physically grows back.
I suggest watching HairCafe channel. Or generally do research
What are you talking about? You can absolutely grow back hair. I don’t understand why you would post such an ignorant comment. I’ve known people who have done PRP and have visibly thicker hair after 4 to 6 treatments.
This is one of the dumbest comments I’ve seen on this topic. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
PRP will not work for everyone. If your hairloss is due to hormones then chances are it won't work. PRP clinics would not be in business for long, thriving or becoming more popular if they didn't work. Read reviews, they work wonders for some and do nothing for others. Hair transplants are the exact same. Not everyone is a candidate to receive one. Reading the reviews for those clinics are mixed as well. Someone mentioned Rogaine, which works for certain hairloss and not for others.
I agree, you should not make such a blanket statement where someone who is experiencing hairloss may read that, especially since not everyone is a viable person to get a hair transplant. If I read that at the beginning of my hairloss journey I would be seriously depressed.
It only works if you have androgenic alopecia you probably have Alopecia areata also your hair loss is too advanced for it to work in a general sense
