Fantastic job I to love the older S&W I purchased a pair of 586,s yesterday a 6 inch and 4 inch already have the 3 inch round butt learned how to polish them to
Great collection! The 686 Dash 4 was made early with old thumbpiece and after the old stock finish, with the new style. I think also was the first with tap and drill holes ready for mounting scope and the new extractor design (no cylinder alignment pin required)
I just picked up a 29-2 in nickel finish 8 inch and a 66 nickel 4 inch with original box and paperwork. I’m in my 50”s and I got them from a friend of my dad’s that needed to get rid of them and wanted to make sure they went to a safe new home. Two of 7 guns I got from him. There are a few more he didn’t want to part with just yet. I hope I get a chance to get them. He had another 66 in the box, blue 4 inch. Yours all look great, very nice.

Hey, welcome to the videos man! I've been doing videos of my collection too. That's a beautiful collection! I currently have 5 old Smiths. I've had 10 total but traded a few. The 66 snub is awesome, but that 686 snub, old school is beautiful!! That's one of my favorites and I love the older ones with firing pins on the hammer and rounded latch release. Just a suggestion, do with it as you may, but the 66 and 686 with the old school panel grips feel unbelievable in the hand man. I have a 64 snub round butt and 2 snub 15's that are both square butt and feel great with the original style Smith panel magna grips. To me, they even feel great on the 4 inch, but not everyone agrees with me on that, but it conceals much better and to me, I can wrap my hands all the way around the grip. I wonder if that is the original cylinder release latch on the -4? It could be, I've seen several transition models so it's definitely possible. I also recently found out that they made a 686+ in the -4! Had no idea! Very beautiful collection! I have really been into Smiths the last few years and I have a few beauties if you ever care to check them out. They should all be walnut if they're stock. I have the Smith & Wesson book and it's invaluable to learn little details about all models. 4th edition is the most current! Can't wait for more videos! I'm excited to see your collection grow. Awesome collection. Whenever I do buy my first sidearm it would definitely be a smith and wessen revolver. I believe the model 586 is the most beautiful revolver they offer. And if I love it, ill get a second one.
Thank you. The 586 is awesome and beautiful. And you will no doubt get a second one; and a third and a ... etc...!

Impressive brother! I’ve got a few S&W revolvers,686 no dash, model 67,and a model 10. All are in beautiful condition. I do have another smith and Wesson but it’s in 556. I recently did a trade,a S&W SD9VE for a a Colt detective special in very nice condition. Man,what a beautiful collection.
Handsome wheelguns, enjoyed your presentation.
Thank you...
That is a beautiful collection of SW's you have. The best I have ever seen. I have a few old one's in fantastic shape as yours. I do own a couple of their newest versions and I like the new trigger better than the older series. I have all maple grips on mine. do you shoot any of yours. Also what grit sand paper did you use to polish yours.
