1. Check the Pilot Flame
Hold the gas control button to ignite the pilot flame.
Wait 30 seconds, then release.
If the flame goes out, proceed to the next step.
2. Remove the Thermocouple
Use a 10 mm wrench to loosen the top nut at the gas valve.
Use an 8 mm wrench to loosen the bottom nut at the burner.
Pull out the thermocouple.
3. Test the Thermocouple
Set a multimeter to DC voltage.
Heat the thermocouple tip with a lighter.
Check for 15-25 millivolts.
Replace it if the voltage is below 15 mV.
4. Reinstall or Replace the Thermocouple
Reinstall if functional, tightening both nuts securely.
Replace with a new one if faulty.
5. Check and Clean the Pilot Burner
Remove the pilot burner and clean any blockages.
Reinstall it securely.
6. Test the Flame
Ignite the pilot flame again and hold the gas button for 30 seconds.
Release and ensure the flame stays on.
