New subscriber (from Canada). Even in the rain it’s completely obvious how beautiful your land is. What an exciting project! Looking forward to following your renovations.
Have you done any videos in the last year? I watched your first three following your arrival on site. I just came back to your channel now and subscribed, but I can not see any other videos apart from clearing the land one.
I'm assuming you plan on living in that caravan for a number of years if you're doing the work yourself. If so, that could have health implications in the winter, especially for the child. That 'cottage' would probably need taking down, a concrete foundation laying, and a host of anti-damp measures taken due to the climate and location. Otherwise the cottage itself would be a health risk. This could cost hundreds of thousands to rebuild and you'd need to get building materials there. Looking at the track, it wouldn't be safe and the tractor driver took a huge risk. If he'd had an accident, without public liability insurance, you are liable for any injuries on your property. This is not as trouble free as it seems.
Many people are renovating old drystone structures like this one all over the world now from France, Italy, Eire and beyond - and have channels documenting the process. Further, 'taking the drystone down' is not necessary, i.e. complete obliteration of the entire structure? I take it you either failed as an architect or have zero qualifications? Have you heard of the word 'underpinning', look it up! If you don't want to be supportive in following their project then go elsewhere. Further, many people live in caravans whilst renovating these old structures, this is NOT a new concept (fyi, these people SURVIVE, ironically this is how EARLY man evolved, perhaps read up on evolution?!). A caravan is a virtual paradise compared to a cave with a Saber Tooth tiger sleeping next to you, yet somehow mankind is still HERE!!! I cannot stand negative people that come in and take a virtual shit on good people who take risks, unlike some useless idiot sitting behind a computer vomiting their 'opinions'. Further the Irish lived in these old stone structures for thousands of years, and ironically they managed to live, it was only the English and the famines that destroyed their way of life.
Can you actually just help yourself to rocks from your neighbours land in Ireland ,? Or is everything just public land ,and you can rebuild walls from wherever you like ?
@@andrewdaley5480no that's not how I see it, putting a child online should be done with extreme caution, the child cannot consent to their image being shared... Adults should not use their children in their videos as a means to gaining views especially nowadays with the amount of creeps online!!!! Fair play to these responsible parents obviously they are aware of this.🇮🇪

I'm a new subscriber from Ohio. I'm looking forward to future videos. Your son helping his dad was so cute.
Cherish theses moments with your son because in a flash they are all grown up.
Lovely to see you letting, and encouraging, your son to help! Keep going! All the best. 😊❤💪🧸
Nice father & son pair working together.
Just love the freedom your son has there. 😊
Your little one is adorable 💕
What an adventure! Your wife is way more understanding than mine would be. 😁

The tractor had to swing wide around the corner, otherwise the caravan would have hit the side of the building.
Love your property and family :-)

What is the point of the face covering? Just do not film the child.
Its ridiculous nobody is going to recognise there child in a few years.
@@andrewdaley5480perhaps the child won't want to see himself on the Internet in years to come! Smart parents imo
@@catL156 oh yes silly me the weak adults that are being produced nowadays could not handle seeing themselves as small children. 🇬🇧
