I am just happy that you still here ❤️ working at a rehabilitation center, where i see all the bad cases (not dead) stroke victims.. i know how frustrating and scary it can be 😓
I'm glad you're doing well and I hope your health continues to stay strong and to be effectively monitored. Thank you for sharing your experiences, and I wish you all the best, you lovely human 🏳⚧
I hadn't noticed any sound of a cold before you pointed it out. I was actually admiring your voice! and thanks for that, now i'll always have the internal joke that voice pitch is directly related to estrogen levels.
Ischemic. the moment you started trying to say the "transient X attack" I knew it. A.. relative had one a while back, or more accurately, he had some symptoms, went to hospital to get checked up, they said "no you're fine, but what medication did your doctor put you on for your TIA a little while ago?".... this was the first he'd heard of it. He'd had no idea he'd had a stroke until they found out through tests he was actually recovering from one.
Also, I very much find it ridiculous how much our NHS puts people onto oral E, when we know, have known for *years*, that oral E carries a higher risk of clotting than any of the other routes of administration, but no, unless you somehow advocate for yourself that "Hey, I want to be on gel or patches", they're going to just keep pushing higher and higher on the oral doses to get results that are arguably much safer to achieve through the other methods - these other methods being able to often get higher E levels with lower doses, the way the body processes the hormone in the other routes of administration also is just much safer - though Oral E is no longer (usually) conjugated estrogens such as Ethinylestradiol or premarin, the way the liver processes the pill A) makes the liver do a *lot* more work, and also doesn't just create the useful E2 (the estradiol we actually want to use), but also it processes a lot of it into E1 which is.. *associated with clotting risk*. I am very glad to hear they didn't turn around and say you needed to stop HRT, but that they're just changing to the safer RoAs.
For sure! I'm definitely going to make a Gel VS Pill video in the future detailing the two and the risks! Looking forward to sorting out my oestrogen too
Trans girlie here umm you might want to stop estrogen then because it increases the risk of clots. And having a stroke really increases the risk of having another one. Also diet cut out processed foods, get 10-15k steps in a day build up to it , yoga and meditation. I really wish you luck tho
I'm sorry did you just not watch the video at all? Just blindly commenting? I am never going to come of estrogen because of the associated gender dysphoria mental health implications. I am however moving from pills to gel. Also my stroke had NOTHING to do with my weight, as stated in the video. It happened as a result of my medication only, which again I explained in the video. From one "trans girlie" to another your advice is not welcomed nor warranted. People like you give trans women a bad name. What an insensitive and inconsiderate comment.
