Omg the use of the wine glasses in this I'm crying. The heart glass representing Alexander's love (I'm assuming) and how he starts out with it then gives it to Angelica who gives it to Eliza and unlike Angelica Eliza actually got to drink the wine that was in the glass. Then Angelica's glass being cracked after she falls and revisits that night my gosh then Alexander's glass being completely empty... I can't right now 😭😅😍
@Daniella Guaman Ochoa I’m sorry this is a really late reply but how would Eliza know that her sister was in love with Alexander? Even in the song Angelica says that if she told Eliza that she loved Alexander, Eliza would give up her own love to make Angelica happy, because she’s just that selfless. Of course, to the audience, it seems unfair that Angelica has to sacrifice so much, but none of it is Elizas fault. She couldn’t have known as Angelica never wanted her to because of how much it would break her heart.

Alone does Laurens succumb to his sorrow by the balcony of the Schuyler mansion's second floor, a miserable sobbing mess as his best friend and...what he once thought his soulmate, dances with the love of his life. The wine in his glass remains untouched, dancing with his pain and lack of desire to drain it, for it would mean his acceptance in the coming absence of Alexander along side of him.
To the sky, he attempts a smile. Alas it falls short into a frown. "I should've done what you'll always do, Alex," he whispers to the stars. "I should've told you how I really felt when I had my chance..." Tears well up in his eyes, and he blinks to let them fall across his cheeks. "I shouldn't have thrown away my shot.
"But you need her," he reminds himself. "I remember how you've always wanted such woman to be by your side till the end of your days. You even wrote me all the things you wished for in a wife. I-I..." Laurens chokes on his words, never once feeling so foolishly naïve in his life. "I was stupid enough to think you wouldn't found one, with your ridiculously high standards. But I was wrong." He turns to take a quick peek of the ballroom, where the pure and beautiful bride twirls in the arms of the painfully dashing and mad handsome groom. Laurens' heart aches, but there is nothing to be done. Perhaps...they are simply born in the wrong era. At the wrong lifetime.
He downs his wine, though not as a toast for the newly wed-it will take a long time for him to adjust. After Alexander's brief utopia with the Schuyler daughter, they have a war to fight and win. His feelings won't matter at all.
"For the revolution," he cheers weakly, and again attempts another smile. This time, he is able to hold it, for he raises his glass for the independence for his country, and the freedom of every man that lives in it. That's what matters the most, right?
Quietly does he continue lamenting, now more at ease thanks to the wine, when a glimpse of a gown passes by the corners of his eyes. An audible thump of back against a wall as the figure slides down to the floor, soft sobbing follows, and to Laurens' surprise: it comes from Angelica Schuyler, the maid of honor. At first he assumes she can't bear the thought of letting go of her sister to Alexander-which is understandable, considering the man is buckwild at every corner-until a quick realization sets.
"Hey..." he calls out, not an effort to hide his cracked voice. And he holds his smile, to assure her that they are in the same boat, bearing the same suffering; a gift from the same insufferable man, Alexander Hamilton.
Goddamn it, Alexander.

I just wanted to comment on a little bit of foreshadowing and symbolism, because I’m not sure if anyone has noticed.
I love how Alexander is holding a wine glass with a heart on it at 1:16 (and throughout most of the video) while he’s illuminated in pink. Throughout most of the video, Angelica is holding both a heart glass, too, and she’s in love, but hasn’t had a drink from the cup. She also picks up a glass without a heart on it next. In a later part of the video, she’s with Eliza, and she seems to debate about who should have the heart glass, but then hesitantly hands it to Eliza. Once Eliza drinks from the heart glass, she’s illuminated in pink, and she seems to fall deeply in love with Alex, to the point that it’s practically set-in-stone that they become a pair. Angelica sees this happen and sadly takes a swig from the glass without a heart, then introduces them, knowing that she’ll never be with Alex now.
At 3:43, when Angelica says “If I tell her that I love him, she’d be silently resigned. He’d be mine,” she and Eliza switch glasses, but then it switches back once the little fantasy is over.
At the wedding, Alexander doesn’t have a heart on his glass, because, “He will never be satisfied”. Angelica doesn’t have a heart on hers, and neither does Laurens for the same reason, but Eliza has a heart on hers.
I thought this was an extremely clever detail. It’s been a super long time since a Satisfied animatic caused me to cry, but I cried. Amazing video.

Think you might of missed a glass, in the part when Angelica falls you can get make out one other glass that's broken, but has the heart band on it.
There is also a cracked glass at 4:35! Probably showing how Angelica is still deeply upset despite blessing the couple.

4:53 I have theory that Alex didn’t love Eliza right away like she did with him, but he *learned* to love her cause he knew deep inside this was the best way to move on and grant Angelica’s wishes of marrying her sister cause he loved her instead in the beginning. But in the end, he also discovered the amazing women Eliza is and stay with her until the end of his days.
I know this is a huge project, especially considering how much time and effort must go into these animatics, but I REALLY hope you do the whole musical.
Your expressions are so spot on, I can’t pin it down but they really make me feel what the characters are feeling. I’m not one to get sad very often but this is the first animatic I have seen where I am genuinely hurting inside for Angelica.
The movements are so dynamic and fluid, they really add to the feeling and they are AWESOME.
This has gotten really long so I’m just going to say: remember me when you’re famous?

I thought I’d seen all the best Hamilton animatics I could, and then you release this! This is my FAVORITE Satisfied animatic of all time! The concept is so cool, the way you made the cups with hearts almost like marks showing who would end up together, and with them came pink spotlights! And the fact that there were things going on in the background while Angelica was singing about Alex! She included his friends and her sisters and everything, oh my gosh!!!!
I could talk about this animatic forever!!!! And the way you snuck in that Laurens at the end, crying with his wine glass by himself outside? Amazing!
And the way you showed Alex and Eliza worried for Angelica after she began singing again, implying that she had been frozen the entire time? Ahhh!

I think the glass was really smart.
The wine glass with the heart represents Alexander’s love, Angelica had it at first but then gave it to her sister.
When she broke her Wine glass that symbolized her broken heart you could see the crack in it.

people one thing that I never noticed is in the details of this animatic and there are many, but the main thing is the wine glasses, and I believe that this shows that Alexander was never satisfied with Eliza but with Angelica, I will explain:
it starts from the moment that Angelica sees the cup of Eliza right? this because I believe that this glass of wine that only she has a heart, means in a certain way Alexander's love for Angelica, and right after Angelica sees the wine glass she loses her balance and falls, and then the story begins
1:18 - from the moment when angelica sees alexander, two pink lights can be seen on top of them, and Alexander's glass, his in particular had a heart, and right when they met the glass was empty
1:56 - after the conversation that the two have, which I believe it was at this moment when they really knew their feelings and fell in love, after that alexander fills his glass with wine and gives it to Angelica and at this moment when she receives everything turns pink, indicating that she is totally in love

It was already good at the beginning. Seriously! Angelica was giving the speech and Peggy is there, and then things go mysterious and nebulous stared to became grey and flashbacks happens and uuuuuuh~~ And then BAM! Angelica falls and things start flowing and the Helpless parts begin to happen, and the lighting and the colors were so wonderful! LOOK THESE CUPS AND CANDLES AND SEARCHTLIGHTS (ithinkthatit'scalledthatwaysorryifi'mwrong) !!! And the light reflected on the characters too! aaaaa (1:30 - 1:31 was fire! - literally, hehe) It really looked like a ball! With random persons reacting and 1:30 ***SoMeOnE*** was in the back * COUGH COUGH RIGHT? COUGH COUGH *
And it was so cute that Peggy was there at all the times, really being part of the story! I love it so much SO MUCHaaaaaaaa!
When Angelica was dancing it was so wonderful and satisfying to see (in fact, it's a dream) and I say the same thing about when she is talking and interacting with the boys, and the eyes of the characters with hearts!! So beautiful and charming !! And I absolutly love when some frames get colored and/or more detailed, like 2:01, 3:27, 3:41, 3:50, 4:31 and 5:05! LOOK THESE RAYS OF LIGHT!! (Brazilian meme hehe sorry)
