A Wired Freedom will go anywhere this will go and leave it in the dust for $2k. Buy a green one and get artsy camo on it. They are a US company with great service.

Looking at the Norco big foot VLT 2. More spendy than anything I see reviewed. Has there been any reviews of the Norco electric fat bikes that you know of?
    Thank you very much!

I hadn’t realized a bike could have both a cadence and torque sensor though it seems this bike is mostly cadence. I have noticed in more recent reviews you don’t mention the amount ghost pedaling experienced. Is this no longer an issue with newer bikes?

It's been surprising, but lately we haven't had that issue as much.

In class 1 does it drop the wattage to 750?

What's with the black box at the BB? Looks like a mid drive? For future models where they switch to middrive?

It houses the bike's controller, but in theory, yes - a mid-drive could go there in the future

I am new to electric bikes but how does pedal assist work. Do you you pedal and it goes to 20 mph or does it go to 20 when you change gears.

So as long as you're pedaling the motor will help to propel you up to 20 mph. Changing gears can make pedaling easier when going uphill or add resistance when going downhill.

With all the criteria you've got I think the Lectric XPedition comes the closest to what you need

Hyper scrambler 2 is on sale for 1999. It comes with 2 52v 19.2ah battery's. Should probably get at least 50 miles at 25mph throttle only.

Can’t you just buy a second battery for your rad and bring it with you? That’ll be cheaper than buying a different bike. Especially since you like it.

This is a better looking ebike. It looks rugged. I dont like ebike's that clearly show a battery on it. Like the Wire Freedom has.

Not bad for $2K; $3K --- no no!

Now I know why Quietkat is closing its Colorado operations and consolidating with its conglomerate owner. Insanely overpriced. Compare this to the Wired Freedom and just turn off the lights at Quietkat. This bike should be priced at $1500.

Maybe the manufacturing cost are so high because of the state they are doing business. UPDATE: Just read online they are consolidating in California. Sounds like they are making the same mistakes that the company that ended up with Hobie kayaks did. Hobie was produced in California but now in Mexico, but they are not meeting their commitments because they fired everyone.

You could probably increase range and speed with smaller width tires.

At least for the specs, this is very overpriced.
