I bought mine locally got the Quiet Kat discounts. They had them in the store so I was able to walk out the door with it. Best part…this sporting goods store not only services the bike, they also provided their own warranty.
If you're planning on keeping that if you ever leave it in a busy environment I suggest upgrading to a bar type lock what you have I can cut through in seconds
I am surprised the FedEx driver didn't snag the bike for himself and swear it was delivered. I have had that experience. WalMart ships via FedEx and consecutively delivered three separate orders to three separate wrong addresses. I called WalMart Hdq. and raised hell. They took it damn serious and confirmed in the conversation that this indeed happened. They assured me something would be done. I received an email back from them within 48 hours insuring it would never happen again......and it hasn't. None the less, when I where a package is being delivered my FedEx......I friggin cringe. Oh, and thanks for the review as I am looking hard for my first ebike and I am 76 years old, so if I poop out and can hit the throttle and get back to the truck?
Poor little FedEx gal delivered mine two weeks ago and it was 15 below zero. It had snowed so she could slide it along the sidewalk, but it’s still 100 pounds. She offered to help me get it in the house too. I told her to get back in van where it’s warm. My only complaint so far is that I had no idea when it would arrive. No tracking information, no nothing. They charged my card lickity split.
I just ordered one this morning and have been watching a lot of videos since then. Every one of the bikes looks different. Yours has the 1000 w hub but the area the pedal and crank assembly go looks different on your bike. Some of the rangers I have seen have the 1000 w hub but the pedal assembly looks like the Apex mid mount without the mid mount motor. Yours looks like a normal bike peddle assembly. Also they do not make it clear about the bikes is which version you will get. It’s 2024 and they call it Ranger 2023 or Ranger 5 in some places. It would also be nice to know what aftermarket parts could be ordered for the peddles and crank arms. The peddles look like standard but the peddle crank arms and hubs don’t have sizes on the site. And one thing I noticed in the literature is that the hub assembly can’t be submerged in water. Has that been an issue for you?
@@Nocked_Tagged_OutdoorsI was also able to get a veterans discount and paid just over $2200 for it. I really like the frame design and the ability to ride on the street and in the woods. Oh I agree about FEDex vs UPS.
Lots of factors go into that. If you’re loading the bike down and heavy on the throttle it’ll prolly get around 8miles or so I’m guessing. If you have flat ground, you’re helping with the pedaling a lot and not over loading the bike you’ll get that 20+
Not knocking a Quiet Kat at all..........but if you want the same performance for half the money look at the Aventon Aventure. $1999 for a 4" fat tire bike with high quality brakes, forks, display and shifter. A continuous 750W hub motor 1100W+ peak, 15 AH 48V battery with rapid charger. The rear rack is not near as nice as the Quiet Kat but who cares because the Quiet Kat is only got a 300lb load rating whereas the Aventure has a 400lb load rating. I rode both this week and I'm walked away more impressed by the Aventon. Picking it up later this week........
@@mr.monitor. Did you watch this video? Does this review look like it's the 1500w peak mid drive? My brother's Quiet Kat only has a 500W hub motor, a smaller battery, and was twice the cost of mine.

hub motors are awesome for hunting but struggle on steeper hills for sure... great looking ebike thanks for sharing and happy hunting....

Thanks for the review. For the flat you should try some tire sealant it’s great for punctures.
I added some Slime in both tires since then. We’ll see how they hold up.

Nice review! What's the top speed on this bike with pedal assist on a flat surface?
Not sure but I do know I’ve been over 25mph. Can’t imagine you’d be able to get too much faster.
I have a ridgerunner, very fun and durable so far, i take it on jumps and fast downhills, does surprisingly well
ive broke the freehub on my ridgerunner 3 times now. How's your holding up

I’ll tell you from experience that I’ve had my hub fully submerged in creek crossings multiple times without a problem so far.

What is the name of the cammo pattern?
Thanks
What brand are those rifle rack hilder?
Kolpin Rhino Grip
what is the mileage on this?

What year is this bike?
2022 I believe
@@Nocked_Tagged_Outdoors any real difference between 2022 and the 2023,2024 ranger model?
Looks like they upgraded from mechanical disc brakes to hydraulic. Other than that and come different colors/camo they appear to be the same.

@@rodcox1005 you are right I was commenting on the wrong bike.
For the same ballpark price I rather purchase a 300cc + adventure motorcycle.
except anything combustion powered is not allowed on public hunting land in most states.
And smell like gas and sound like crap. No thanks 😅
E-Bikes are way over priced!
