James shows exactly what he thinks of his colleagues by the types of orchids he gives them.
Something or someone didn't want him to get away with doing away with his wife! Too many coincidences!
Thank you these are awesome 👍
What goes around comes around!
Sian Phillips is such a good actress. Love this. :)
Indeed, she's fantastic ❤
Sian Phillips brilliant as ever, the definition of a great character actress. Also Richard Johnson,s dissecting of the corpse reminds me of a Hammer Horror where the body parts reanimate!!
Lovecraft for sure!
That grim, very focused look on his face makes me laugh.
All the episodes were created by a hammer horror writers and directors!
Haunting music !! Another corker upload sir X🙏☺️
Loved Sian Philips in "I, Claudius" and Richard Johnson in "The Haunting." Both excellent actors.
Thank you for posting this series .
Every office party has a Gavin.
Wonderful cast!!! ❤
No one ever dismembered anyone as fast as that. It would be funny to see him caught trying, though
I thought maybe his wife would emerge from the ground as a huge flower.
These are keeping me going, thanks 🖤
Nicola Wallace Glad to hear it! 🙏😀
Woow , she was stone cold , great one
Well it's well over a year since I discovered your channel Steve and I'm back again for both your new episodes and some re runs. This is my first morning off in nearly a year so I'm enjoying it! Love this entire series!
Hi Holly. Lovely to hear from you. Sounds like you’ve been incredibly busy! Enjoy your time off 😃
Thanks
Fabulous episode
Hahahahha I thought it was too perfect a crime.
Another great one about a bad marriage. SPOILER!!!: I imagine it went something like that for the so-called 'Liverpool Chess Club Murderer', who allegedly bludgeoned his wife and then tried to concoct a false alibi to implicate a fictional killer he had made up himself. One wonders how long this husband had been planning his act. And the truth in the story is that a lot of these real-life murderers do have that arrogant vanity that this man seems to have.
Malignant Narcissist through-and-through, with no regards for the well-being or even existence of others.
Gottcha!
This story is one of the late John Collier's best.. what is sad is that it is very hard to feel sorry for Hermione in the least.. and part of you wants him to get away with it...
i have seen Richard Johnson in episodes before he reminds of Fred West he to buried people
Dick Johnson??? REALLY??????!!!!!!!!!! (By the way, I love this show!)
Simon5005 Yes! The only and only 👍
Dr Markway from The Haunting, and ex-husband of Kim Novak.
Yet again two controllers in competition to outdo one another... Have time and again come to the conclusion: Extreme caution advised when it comes to marrying medical doctors and nurses.
Interesting, why nurses?

Narcissistic personalities typically tend to be involved in helping professions, where they are the strong ones in control of making decisions on behalf of others who are vulnerable.
Some 'Dangerous Women' culprits for example are serial killers who had poisoned their victims under the guise of being nurses; although remember some (caught out) 'angels of death' to have been male nurses or medical doctors.
Something else to consider, is that according to a 2014 PubMed article, prescription medications is rated as the third most common cause of death in Europe and USA (after heart disease and cancer); with half of these deaths resulting from using the medications - as prescribed - for conditions they are supposed to be treating. With the vast amount of detrimental and even deadly effects of medications in mind, one can imagine how easy it would be for someone with evil intent to use a medication at their disposal to drug and/or kill someone.
I never knew Nigel Farage used to be an actor!
I was convinced it was Sheila Hancock.
10:47 that is not where her pulse is, a doctor would know better. 😂 How obnoxious to do that for an earring. I wouldn’t answer even if everything is ok.
