- Bill Bixby stars as a US Navy sailor who is washed overboard while sailing in a storm in the bermuda triangle, wakes up 25 years later and tries to get back to his own time. This is an episode of "Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected" from 1977.
I use to watch this as a young lady. I surely miss the 70's what a time to be alive.
My second grade teachers husband was a Navy Pilot who disappeared in flight over the Bermuda Triangle in the early 60's.
This introduction is completely different to the tales of unexpected we saw in England.
Bill Bixby - such an underrated actor.
Dean Stockwell, not credited, died quite recently. What a handsome man he was in his youth.
Todays fools have no idea how life was so much better in the time depicted in this show
I just love anything with Bill Bixby in it. As a little kid in the 70's I remember he not only had his own show or shows - but he was also a guest on just about every popular TV show at the time. Everybody knew who he was or recognized his face he was pretty much everywhere. He was good at comedy and drama and was always entertaining.
I don't get how his son didn't recognize the dad..after all he looked the way he had the last time he saw him 25 years before!
First time ever viewing this show. Surprised I'd never heard of this as a child in the 70s, as I love show like this. Thx so very much for uploading this, what a pleasant surprise!
You don't wanna make him mad, you REALLY don't.😂
The 60's & 70's Were Such Great Times...🗓
I watched this episode for the first time in 46 years today. It has a similar impact on me that it did watching it as a child all those years ago.
I recall seeing this episode as a kid and it always stuck in my mind...thanks U-tube
This was the only episode I ever saw. Always remembered it because of Bill Bixby's performance and the haunting theme music.
There were so many good shows in the seventies. Quinn Martin productions, Dan Curtis scary shows, Aaron Spelling, Sherwood Schwartz, to name a few.
wow, I just started watching this without knowing what it was... Bill Bixby suddenly appeared (my favorite actor of all time) and it was about my favorite subject. EXCELLENT!
That moment of recognition between Bill Bixby and Amanda...priceless. You somehow knew she heard/saw him yelling & running. Very good acting on her brief but pivotal part.
I loved those Quinn Martin Productions, split into Acts with the epilogues. Everything was well with the universe back then. Thanks for posting.
I hadn't even heard of tales of the unexpected this is the first one I'm going to watch, they must be good there's big stars in them
Love hearing William Conrad, man. When he speaks, you better listen!
