@@thehalloweenheavymetalwarrior I’m sorry but pls don’t call yourself a Halloween warrior if you can’t understand the cinematic masterpiece that is Rob Zombie’s Halloween. Rob Zombie’s Michael is a more accurate depiction of him, he gives the story depth and lets you know why Michael is so fucked up. It also lets us in on the fact that Michael was probably experience psychosis and delusions for years and they just kept progressing as his mental health issues went untreated. Also, you can’t really judge the entire story of the new Halloween’s because we’ve only seen 1 of 3. Obviously, one is setting up the story for two and three of this (presumably) last trilogy of the franchise. It had some good elements of modern horror, showed an accurate depiction of what Laurie’s life would realistically be like dealing with severe ptsd (probably for the most part has gone untreated, as it was the 70’s and Michael seemed to be the only one receiving the mental healthcare except the home Jamie was in during her 2nd movie). I understand if you just don’t like them, that’s fine, but you’ve got to give credit where it’s due. It’s extremely rare we get a good horror film, let alone good remakes and sequels. While this franchise has had some *major* flops and disappointments, a lot of people abusing the “Halloween” legacy for money, etc. we’ve also gotten some real gems from this franchise. Whether the og fans of the originals like it or not, Rob Zombie did Halloween justice by adding a backstory, the realistic gore of the killings, and by simply, truly making it Rob Zombie’s Halloween. You have to appreciate them, even if you don’t care to really set down and watch them. Just like I can’t stand Halloween III, it just doesn’t grab my attention but I appreciate it and I appreciate what they were trying to do because it’s why we have things today like American Horror Story. If Halloween III was its own movie and not part of the franchise, I believe it would’ve eventually became one of the staple movies for the Halloween season. I can still respect it.
OH how I wish they had done the sequel planned for part 6 Producers cut and kept on with that instead of all of this shitty reboot crap with h20 and rob zombie and the 2018 garbage! Part 6 is the real Myers, the original and it all makes sense with the Druid Coven and Thorn curse finally!
I agree this is the true series. They should have done the sequel that was planned for part 6 Pcut which was to continue right where it left off and we were to learn more about The Druid Coven and Thorn Curse and that most people in Haddonfield were in on it the whole time watching over Myers
I was so upset when they did not continue the original story line and instead went off the rails with h20 ignoring the sequels and telling us to ignore them to which insulted fans and the people that were in those sequels. And then to find out part 6 was not the real version we were suppose to see which upset the writer Farrands and the people in that film as well. In fact Farrands has talked about a dozen different versions of part 6 that he really wanted to be filmed. Some of these original scripts can be found online which are fun to read and he had mentioned other alternative endings and plots as well
PRHILL9696 I feel they did want to continue from 6 but because of Donald pleasnese passing away I guess they couldn't use Loomis who probably would have been a bigger part of the movie as he became Michaels new pretictor
Me personally I like the "Curse Of Thorn" angle and here's why. You have to give an explanation that's at the very least debatable for why this guy just won't die and is soo strong! Being "crazy" just ain't enough playa! You can be as crazy as you want to be if someone shoots you 6 times your crazy ass ain't getting up no more! You over, done deal!!! This at least gives the viewers something to actually discuss when someone (and you know they will) brings up the fact Michael won't die! And That's Reality! #TruthHurts #RealTalk #keepingIt💯 #RealRecognizeReal
The general idea wasn't his insanity was keeping him alive it was the "Pure evil can't die" persona. Which I to some extent liked, but at the same time Adolf Hitler is dead as sh*t, Napoleon Bonaparte is dead as sh*t, Ted Bundy is dead as sh*t- a lot of evil people are dead as sh*t. The curse of thorn thing definitely makes more sense.
@Cant Fight As is your view (flawed) on the facts of the history of Michael Myers! The resaon I used 6xs as the narrative is because Dr. Loomis made that phrase popular hence: " I shot em six times" !! Truth be told Michael Myers was shot more than that by Loomis individually let alone the countless number of others who have done things to him only to have him rise again! So the only one's view flawed is your own!! And That's Reality!!
Thanks so much. This Thorn Curse stuff makes more sense now. Kind of sad how it was put on him without a choice. I like the halloween series thinking of the original history and the 2018+kills separately.
Dude you're a great narrator, reminds me of some sort of 1970s-1980s documentary or something. You should do this type of stuff for the other horror icons: Freddy, Leatherface, Jason, Pinhead, etc
I’m a huge fan of the thorn trilogy and the lore behind that era of Myers (I like having a franchise with branching timelines and plots - it’s like a slasher version of a comic book hero) but the only missing thing for me is…what ended up happening with Laurie’s new parents?
@@SonCarlosH awesome, love the video. And I’m rewatching Halloween II and they mention not being able to reach Laurie’s parents so Michael killing them off screen is not out of the realm of possibility I guess
I honestly wish for the new Halloween movie to be a sequel to 5 just for Jamie Lloyd to come back from the dead and team up with her mom for the first time.
Well you were kinda right! Lol expect it wasn’t exactly Jamie. I was hoping they’d at least name Laurie’s new daughter Jamie, but they went with Karen and boy did it suit her well...
The Wrestling Movie Guy you missed a bit of backstory regarding what drove Michael to start killing people. W When he was 6 years old he started to hear voices in his head telling him to kill people and it wouldn't stop, he also started to have nightmares. One of these nightmares involved a disfigured 15 year old boy named Enda. This period was centuries ago during the Celtic age. This boy killed a girl Deirdre because he loved her and she rejected him. I'll post the link for you to read. It just further shows the living hell Michael Myers is being forced to do by the "Cult of Thorn" in Holloween 5 near the end Jamie asks Michael to remove his mask. What was revealing moment was when you see a close up of Michael's eye and see a tear rolling down his check. Also when Dr. Loomis tried to reach Michael and tell him about stopping the rage, and he almost succeeded in getting through to Michael and almost gets him to hand over his knife. Michael Myers is a victim, he carries a curse which makes him virtually indestructible. Plus he has the constant bombardment of voices telling him to keep killing, Having to suffer through this since the age of 6 being driven to kill not just members of his family but also kill anyone else within stabbing range. It sucks being a puppet being forced to do horrible things to people, in other words, he can't control the curse. Sometimes his human side tries to surface but is always beaten back by the curse, and a very powerful curse at that. Bottom line is that Michael Myers is being forced to to these bad things to people, and he can't control his actions no matter how hard he tries. Great video by the way, I'm just making suggestions, personally I think it sheds some more light on the story. halloweenmovie.wikia.com/wiki/Michael_Myers
DarkSektori this one helluva comment thanks! I appreciate how much time you took out to write that. Sometimes it is hard to fit everything in. Thanks for watching! I love to get such great comments :)
DarkSektori 100 percent. That’s what People don’t know about Michael. Really he’s a puppet. It went back to his Great Grandfather also hearing voices and shooting a couple at a Halloween festival. He never met the couple but before they hanged him for it, he said they’re names
hey "Wrestling Movie Guy" the way you made this video and explained it is off the hook man very Pro but the music you chose to play in this video is absolutely awesome!.. very mid 70s to mid-80s horror background music.. may I ask if you could let me know where I can find the background music to this video all the background songs were awesome are they all on one soundtrack and if so could you tell me which one?.. thanks man!!
+The Wrestling Movie Guy (WrestlingMovieGuy) wow these tracks are absolutely awesome thanks so much for the quick reply and can't wait to check out more background videos on horror lore that you may post!.. 👍👍 P.S. how about a vid made by you TWMG on some horror background lore on the Epic Horror Movie the VOID ..
For me 1-5, the producers cut of 6, and the 2018 film are my preference because to me they feel the most like Halloween and have that creepy atmosphere. And they also have the best music. And have the more better masks. Which is something I felt h20, resurrection, and the rob zombie films failed miserably at.
Did Lurie fake her death in car crash to copy from her parents who actually died in a crash did Dr wynn and the thorn cult cause the crash did Michael use his psychic powers did cause it
I actually prefer the theatrical cut of H6 over the producer’s cut because it’s more intense. The last 15 minutes of the producer’s feels very cheesy to me. It’s like a soap opera. But there are many additional scenes I like in the producer’s cut as well as some of the music so I made my own hybrid cut of the film.
i think micheal is still supernatural evil demon in the thorn lore. he was cursed with the thorn symbol by the voodoo man in the beginning of halloween 5. i think halloween 1-8 should be in this one timeline and john carpenter should direct and produce part 9

What I never understood about Rachel is how she could still love and be nice to Jamie, go visit her in the sanatorium after she stabbed her mother and tried to kill her.
That’s the thing about trauma bonding, it doesn’t make sure to pick someone you’re gonna like and get along with. Jamie was lucky Rachel actually did love her and was able to maintain a bond with her even after she hurt their mom. Some have been thru traumatic events with someone they didn’t like at all or grow to not lie. They more than likely go their own ways, but no matter what for the rest of your life that’s gonna be the only person who truly gets it like you do. I’d imagine that same logic applies here because this is obviously more traumatic than any situation I’ve witnessed or anything like that.
wonder what that fucking hermit was thinking when he had Michael in his home in a coma for a whole damn year. "hm a yes he is the best roommate I have ever had, he doesnt talk, eat or using the bathroom hell he doesnt even cost me anything. just keeping me company hm hm" XD!!!
the whole thing that he kept Michael in his home for a whole year without contacting an hospital or the police that he has a unconscious giant man in his home filled with bullets, knife wound and other shit. god the halloween franchise had more plotholes than cheese
Speaking as a descendant of the actual Druids,I didn`t mind the Cult of Thorn angle in concept and the symbol was very cool-looking but I am fucking sick and tired of Hollywood reinforcing Roman lies about the Druids being child-sacrificing maniacs when most of them were in reality vegetarians and pacifists who revered nature and respected the interconnectedness of the universe!
I hated how Halloween 6 was. The Halloween/ Michael Myers movies died after 5. A cult cursing a child to kill his kin for sacrifice. That is just stupid. My theory the reason why Michael kills and became evil because when he was 6, Judith Myers was forced by her parents to take her little brother Michael Trick 'r Treating, but ditched Michael all alone in an unkown neighborhood to go have hanky panky with her boyfriend. Michael infuriated by Judith's action, his rage took over his actions and killed his sister Judith for leaving Michael alone when she was supposed to be watching her little brother and taking him Trick 'R Treating. Michael being locked away in Smith's Grove, he became mute because he was always locked in his room with nothing to do, nobody to talk to, just stay locked up in his room. He started to have severe cabin fever that he just let himself go and his raging and hateful side took over, killing the innocent side of little Michael Myers. Dr. Loomis is assigned to work with Michael to help him become sane and back into society, but was assigned too late from Michael already being mute and being full of rage and hate, Michael's personality is darker than black. Loomis not finding a way to help Michael, he tells the administrators that he is not sane to be discharged and released back to society thus keeping Michael locked in Smith's Grove over the years. The rage and hate building up started to become evil, putting thoughts into Michael's head that there are more girls out there like Judith who need to be killed. Michael still being mute and frustrated thinking about how there are more girls like her sister Judith who would do the same thing on Halloween night. Michael needs to break out and rid these teenage girls off. Where is the first place Michael should start? How about where he started with his first killing, in his hometown of Haddonfield. Michael makes a plan to escape and over time he manages to escape. Now I think Halloween night is the best night for Michael to do these killings because this evil inside of him makes him immortal for only one of the year, and that is on Halloween night. So Michael has one night to do as much killings he can while he is immortal for that one night. Michael finds and stalks his first victim, Laurie Strode who dropped by his old house he was hiding in after breaking out of Smith's Grove. He finds out that Laurie will be babysitting on Halloween night, and also finds out that her friend Annie will be babysitting too, but will be ditching the child she's watching so she can hook up with her boyfriend Paul. Michael kills Annie for her ditching Lindsay when she is supposed to be watching her, that was one thing Michael's sister Judith did on that Halloween night. She then kills Laurie and Annie's friend Lynda and her boyfriend Bob because they were teenagers who had sex, that was another thing Judith did that Halloween night of her murder. Michael then had the urge to kill Laurie because Laurie looked a little like his older Judith, but then finds out that Laurie is actually Michael's little sister. Now that Michael is thrown off track to his plan, so he must kill Laurie because the evil inside him wants to kill his bloodline kin. Michael is stabbed in the eye from the wire hanger and shot 6 times by doctor Loomis, Michael is unharmed of both things because of his immortality and immunity to pain on Halloween night. Now this is when the storyline in Halloween 2 comes in. Now that Michael's plans were ruined by his Doctor shooting him 6 times and letting Laurie get away alive. Michael is now frustrated about letting Laurie get away that now Michael must find her and kill her and kill anyone that gets in his way. After the events of Halloween 2, Michael survived being burned in that explosion and fire, Michael is put in a coma. With the doctor's talking about how he has a young neice in his hometown, that awakens Michael, angered and filled with rage hearing about how Laurie survived two times from his attacks, and she now has a daughter. Michael is not going to let another member of his Myers bloodline live, especially that she's the daughter of his sister Laurie, the one who survived and got away. Micheal now has to kill his neice Jamie, and will kill anyone that gets in his way again. That is my theory. I've told other Halloween fans about this and a lot really like my theory and they agreed with it. If you agree of this theory, like the comment, and/or reply of what you think of your theory of why Michael Myers is evil, why he kills, and why he can't die
At the end of the film it is revealed to Dr. Loomis that he has been cursed with the job of being Michael Myers caretaker after Dr. Wynn passes the Curse to him saying "It's your game now". I take his scream one of two ways. One, he screams be sure the Curse has taken over him and his mind was in anguish because he has been trying to kill Myers for years. Two, he simply loses his mind because he is now bound to Myers for life and his obsession with Myers was too much to handle combined with being Myer's caretaker. Myers walked off into the night to get back to his killing ways or hide out until next Halloween. Kara and the children ran off to get as far away from Myers as possible.
Halloween H20 says that Laurie faked the car crash death in Halloween 4. That right there can connect them, meaning it CAN be a sequel to H6. She faked her death to leave Jamie behind to protect her, then a year later in California she has a son. She doesn't know what happened in the previous 3 films because she's in a different state. It all makes sense when you really think about it. So H1-8 are one series (minus 3)
The curse began many years before he was even born, this video I made can explain it better than I can here ua-cam.com/video/4LMzcULK0_o/v-deo.html As for Loomis it seems the touch did it in the same way as Michael touching Jamie at the end of Part 4. The touch had an effect on her. Except in Loomis's case he became the protector since DR Wynn touched him. Protector to new Protector kinda thing I guess. But we will never know for sure since Donald Pleasance died right after filming ended for part 6
Thank you for explaining this never ending Michael Myers story lol but I don't get Dr Loomis being Myers's protector and now having to the Thorn tattoo on him. Can you please explain?
Dread Giirl Sure! The tattoo is shared by Michael and his protector. Whoever is his protector gets an identical tat. Judging by how Loomis got his, the tattoo appears without the need of needles. Loomis was chosen by the cult to Michael's new protector. I would have loved to have seen where this would take Loomis and Myers relationship next. Thanks for checking out the video!
There was to be a sequel to this film and we were to learn more about the Thorn and cult and that many in Haddonfield were in on it the whole time watching over Myers
I may not have watched this film holy shit. Did I skip one of the most important Halloween? Maybe I did a long time ago but can't remember. Thank you for the review
Thanks I been racking my mind trying to figure wtf was behind the cult shit now I'm finally having some closure smh too bad they didnt end the movies like this
Is Thorn apart of Halloween 1978? I believe Man In Black/Dr. Wynn appears in Halloween 1978. Therefore Thorn is apart of every timeline that doesn't reboot Halloween 1978.
Yes it connects back to Halloween 78. And yes Dr. Wynn was in the original, he was the man who said "For God's sake the man can't drive car!" To which Loomis said "He was doing very well last night!"
@@GeneFOX70 as long as the Curse is still attached to him I believe he is indeed immortal. Though to be fair we have never seen Michael not be cursed except in the Rob Zombie films. (Would be interested to see him not cursed and walk down to his local grocery store though)
@@SonCarlosH people keep saying that Thorn isn't canon anymore because of Halloween 2018 erases everything except Halloween 1978 but that movie has Man In Black/Dr. Wynn meaning that Thorn is also apart of 2018 and it's upcoming sequels.
@@GeneFOX70 unfortunately though I think that if that were the case then Jamie Lloyd would have been mentioned by Laurie in the H2018 but she isnt. But then again perhaps Wynn is the only character to survive the transition from the original timeline to the new one. Also in the new timeline Loomis didn't chase Myers to the ends of the earth as Michael never actually escaped into the night after H78 because he was caught the same night in this new timeline so how could the Thorn storyline happen with all these changes made to the timeline. Makes my head hurt sometimes lol.
i thought 4-6 were story lines on their own? leaving 1-2-H2O and Resurrection as one story? AND how accurate is your outline? Do you feel its 100% true explaining the story correctly? Just wondering as Im trying to fully understand the whole story finally after 40 years
I'm a huge halloween and the facts are accurate. H20 was made because the producers never thought Jamie Lee Curtis would ever come back to the series until she did. So once she decided to return they threw out the the Thorn Trilogy storyline. The Thorn Trilogy is it's own thing and H20 + Resurrection are a response to it. Go back and watch the films if u want to fact check ;) Thanks for watching!

Schnaider 978 some fans don't like the cult angle and I can understand why but it's all good, we all have our opinion and everyone has a right to that. Thanks for watching!
Fuck a curse of thorn. Micheal myers real reason of why he kills is because he is pure evil in that sense of the word. All right and wrong left him after the killing his sister. The thorn theory is pretty stupid. Halloween 2018 got his motive right again as to why he does what he does. Micheal while still being a human far as physical form is empty, void of emotion due to it fading every sense his first kill and sentencing. He feels no pain, he feels no compassion for anyone. He does what he does simply because he became evil on his own which resulted in not speaking smiling or anything. No cult controls micheal. Micheal controls himself. He's smart, powerful, and dangerous. Halloween 4 5 and 6 is that thorn shit. Halloween 1 and 2 is the real shit/The authentic Killing micheals who's uncontrollable rage makes him a force to not be fucked with. Just my opinion.
I'll definitely have to check that out or at least see if I can find the clips around here somewhere. I've been A huge fan of the franchise, and I thought I had everything down :D
@@joshuakaeble7810 I had no idea there was as much to the Halloween franchise as there is. There’s novels and comics too, I think at least the comics maybe good. I’ve never read them, only read ab them as a surprised when I was reading on the Halloween fandom website lol.
00ironskull It’s funny, with the new movie even 2 is retconned. The reboot acts like no one ever saw Michael again after he was shot and fell out the window. For like 40+ years. I’m laughing because he’d be so damn old.
KiriUzu dude I know!!! Crazy I wonder if they're going to do like a George Lucas thing where they remake the first movie will not remake their first movie but just like put it on DVD and change the last scene to Michael getting arrested or some s***
KiriUzu They did. Just inside an Asylum. They’re saying he was caught right after trying to escape the house after being shot off the balcony. He was put back into Smiths Grove
Idk about Michael I think they should of made a another pt to Thorn letting her sister finding out why at least he is trying to kill her and why he won’t die but why not make a Halloween where baby Steven has the mark of Thorn passed to him
Edward Feeney unfortunately the box office and critical reaction caused the studio to give the series a soft reboot with H20 so they will probably never pick but the baby Steven story threads.
Dam Jason can't kill him this dude can do anything has power should have no limitations smh hands down Jason would be hit and I'm a fan but this the only 1 that can kill Jason that's it
Extremely late response but in my opinion it was the Druid power that made that happen. Plus it was a good way to not give away it was Wynn right away after hearing his dialog with Loomis. If he sounded like the man in black before the reveal we would've been hip to it early on.
I like the way u explain Micheal Myers 1 through 6 and His immortality so is Micheal still immortal after dat 7 and 8 just guesting please explain because I believe he is
What happens after part 6 is unknown because they rebooted the series on film but there are comics that follow up on what happens, I will be getting that soon. Michael is still immortal as the comics go on. Check out my new video on the history of Haddonfield and the origins of the druid clan, just put it up last night!
I thought Tommy put the ultimate smackdown on Michael Myers. Beat him to a pulp, with that damn big ass pipe. Also, I thought Michael had went on and killed Dr. Wynn and his followers. I'm confused like a mug.
I'm not a big fan of this timeline because it doesn't make Michael "pure evil".The original,Rob's remake, and the 2018 timelines are my favorite because it makes Michael a heartless killer like he was always meant to be.
Well considering Rob's Michael was in a sanitarium with a at least 2 people there to comfort him and he still killed them for no reason. He may not be as evil as the og Michael but he's still pretty bad.
I actually like studis movie; was interested in what they introduced and was a little dissapointed that it was never properly revisted. Although I prefer the theatrical cut over the producers in its potrayal of Michael because the curse and druid elements wasn't touched upo too much, and more importantly Michael was NOBODIES bitch. Had this storyline continued I would have lll led to see Steven grow up to be Michael's antithesis and his final nemesis.
I pictured him being a sheltered kid as he grew up, and doesn't find out to much about Michael, the cult or where he came from, until he is a teenager/young adult. I picure him as carrying both Jamie's innocence and Michael's darkness as their son and the balance is used to gradually turn him into an anti-heroic counterpart to Michael - maybe carry some of that dark magic Michael had as well. His story can be seen as one of innocence loss as he fights not only his father, but fighting not to become a new Michael as well. Or if story and character development doesn't float ones boat, he can just be seen as a Kratos/John Wick figure against Michael.
At least the theatre cut did Michael better. He's a psychopath in that version while in the Producers cut, he was a puppet. I'm not saying that the Producers Cut is inferior, it did more to showcase Donald Plesance as well as the Strode family; but the theatrical cut did Michael and the cult subplot better.
Though the mask is not good its understandable that its different in H4 cause the first one was burned in H2. But how did the mask change from H4 to H5 when its supposed to be the same one. LOL The masks after H1 is what ruined all these films for me. Im aware H2 was same mask but it was in bad shape and fit different on new actor. The only Michael for me is Nick Castle. I wish he was doing all the Michael in H2018
all4Hisgloryalone ...just a heads up the mask in part 1 was latex and since latex doesn't last long the mask was ruined.. that's way it wasn't used in any other parts
So he gets mad for not being able to go trick or treating as a kid witch disturbs him so he kill his family and the thrill of that takes over his young child mind and imagination His thrill of killing is suppose to represent his abandoned childhood he never really got to enjoy on Halloween so every Halloween he does his idea of trick or treating 🤔
Well considering he murders people he is quite immoral lol but I think you mean immortal. He is immortal in this timeline as he is bound to the curse. Once the curse is transmitted to someone else I believe he would be mortal again and would most likely lose his super human strength 💪
too bad original story was never finnished also who here have seen this 50 minutes video from cz's world called the original history of Michael myers? does this curse also protect him from old age death? we know he is aging
Indeed! The Curse of Thorn is the true history of Michael Myers. Halloween Part 1-6 Producer's Cut are all masterpieces. H20, Resurrection, both Rob Zombie Halloween films, and the 2018 Halloween movie are all nothing more than just big huge piles of shit that don't really belong in the Halloween Franchise and niether are the true history of Michael Myers.
@@bryanrodriguez9226 I did like that actually, as I saw it yesterday in theaters with my girlfriend and man was I wrong about it all because of 2018 bad start, Kills proved me wrong when it proved it was the ultimate step up and when it had the guts to do what no other sequels did and that was kill off Tommy Doyle in the most brilliantly brutal way ever.
@@bryanrodriguez9226 I also loved that it corrected Halloween 6 of both cuts in killing off Tommy Doyle and correcting 2018 ending by having Karen Strode be killed off by Michael Myers, overall I liked the movie.
Amanda Morgan Like with the witchcraft of "Halloween 3", Michael was cursed to kill one family to control the population of a village. The biggest difference is Cochran wanted to kill 50 million American children in one fell swoop. An army of Michael Myers (like those Silver Shamrock androids) couldn't pull that off.

Zachery Grant in this timeline Myers is indeed alive, but they soft-rebooted the series with H20 and ignored the Thorn storyline. Which made me sad, I was really invested in it.
As long as Michael Myers has the Curse of Thorn, he cannot die in any way or form. Unless he kills his entire bloodline and his curse subsides, then he can be killed either by decapitation or powerful explosions that would shred him to pieces.

So, Michael was born about 3 months after Jason had drowned. Awesome.
It's like it was meant to be, now if we can just get a Michael vs Jason movie off the ground!
The Wrestling Movie Guy I prefer an animated movie between those two.
@@LatinSith I'd be cool with that
Only presumed drowned. Jason's body was never recovered from the lake .
I agree this is the true series. They should have done the sequel that was planned for part 6 Pcut which was to continue right where it left off and we were to learn more about The Druid Coven and Thorn Curse and that most people in Haddonfield were in on it the whole time watching over Myers
PRHILL9696 I highly agree with your comment, as I kid I was so into the Curse of Thorn and ever since I have wanted a conclusion to this timeline.
Some of these original scripts can be found online which are fun to read and he had mentioned other alternative endings and plots as well
PRHILL9696 that's Exactly how I felt, I was invested and it was taken away from me for a watered down "Scream"ish softboot Halloween.
PRHILL9696 I feel they did want to continue from 6 but because of Donald pleasnese passing away I guess they couldn't use Loomis who probably would have been a bigger part of the movie as he became Michaels new pretictor
T-man that is a good point
Me personally I like the "Curse Of Thorn" angle and here's why. You have to give an explanation that's at the very least debatable for why this guy just won't die and is soo strong! Being "crazy" just ain't enough playa! You can be as crazy as you want to be if someone shoots you 6 times your crazy ass ain't getting up no more! You over, done deal!!! This at least gives the viewers something to actually discuss when someone (and you know they will) brings up the fact Michael won't die! And That's Reality! #TruthHurts #RealTalk #keepingIt💯 #RealRecognizeReal
I like the way you think
The general idea wasn't his insanity was keeping him alive it was the "Pure evil can't die" persona. Which I to some extent liked, but at the same time Adolf Hitler is dead as sh*t, Napoleon Bonaparte is dead as sh*t, Ted Bundy is dead as sh*t- a lot of evil people are dead as sh*t. The curse of thorn thing definitely makes more sense.
Tupac took nine and kept walking. Six shots is not a guaranteed kill.
I think if they make a final halloween movie it should be about fiquring about how to remove the thorn curse and finally being able to kill him
@Cant Fight As is your view (flawed) on the facts of the history of Michael Myers!
Dirty Rotten Imbecile you want it, you got it. I'll add that to my project schedule!
I’m a huge fan of the thorn trilogy and the lore behind that era of Myers (I like having a franchise with branching timelines and plots - it’s like a slasher version of a comic book hero) but the only missing thing for me is…what ended up happening with Laurie’s new parents?
I'll have to do some research on that as the comics are very expensive and rare to get so it's make it hard to find the info

@@virgie4715 I thought the exact same thing while I was watching halloween . Karen was very fitting for the character 😂
Hey if anyone has any Michael Myers related questions I didn't answer in the video, let me know!
The Wrestling Movie Guy you missed a bit of backstory regarding what drove Michael to start killing people. W
When he was 6 years old he started to hear voices in his head telling him to kill people and it wouldn't stop, he also started to have nightmares.
Sometimes his human side tries to surface but is always beaten back by the curse, and a very powerful curse
at that.
Bottom line is that Michael Myers is being forced to to these bad things to people, and he can't control his actions no matter how hard he tries. Great video by the way, I'm just making suggestions, personally I think it sheds some more light on the story.

DarkSektori this one helluva comment thanks! I appreciate how much time you took out to write that. Sometimes it is hard to fit everything in. Thanks for watching! I love to get such great comments :)
The Wrestling Movie Guy if u didn’t know Michael rape his niece back in H6 and that’s why she have a baby
OurAftClub unfortunately I did know that. Ecky. Lol.
DarkSektori 100 percent. That’s what People don’t know about Michael. Really he’s a puppet. It went back to his Great Grandfather also hearing voices and shooting a couple at a Halloween festival. He never met the couple but before they hanged him for it, he said they’re names
H40 should’ve included Jamie & John it would’ve brought the two siblings to a crossover that would’ve been cool
That would have been great fan service!

RIP Donald Pleasance. Would have loved to see a continuation on the storyline with Dr. Loomis as Michael's protector.
I miss him very much too, the series isn't the same without him.
I've always wondered if Dr. Wynn was responsible for the car crash
Bobby Hall if you really made a hybrid cut I would LOVE TO SEE IT!!! Thanks for dropping by the channel! Seriously I want to see this cut you made.

i think micheal is still supernatural evil demon in the thorn lore. he was cursed with the thorn symbol by the voodoo man in the beginning of halloween 5.
i think halloween 1-8 should be in this one timeline and john carpenter should direct and produce part 9
He had the Curse of Thorn before Halloween 5. That was the source of his power in the 4-6 Timeline.

Love the thorn trilogy and loved Rachel mmmmmmmm
Who didnt
Aye a dae
Exactly! So did I. It's a huge sin for them to ignore this continuity. Which why every Halloween movie including the new 2018 have all been terrible.
What I never understood about Rachel is how she could still love and be nice to Jamie, go visit her in the sanatorium after she stabbed her mother and tried to kill her.
She knew it wasn't her fault.

Michael Myers has been in a coma so many times and wakes up to go back killing like nothing happened 🤣🤣🤣
He is a force of nature, hibernating like a bear 🐻❄ lol
So you perfer the rob zombie garbage!
Sounds to me you prefer Rob Zombie's garbage films over Michael Myers true history Parts 1-6.
why did he scream when he scratched that P symbol on his arm? and where did kichea, myers walk off to?
Curse of Thorn would make a cool name for a metal band.
Can’t wait till the new movie Halloween when it comes out October 25th 😆😆
that would be so kool if Michael Myers was real
Well it would suck for his victims but otherwise sure why not?!?
I appreciate you watching the video, it's most appreciated :)
Sad af. He was probaly possesed by a demon.
Threat video 😂 great vídeo
How did Michael get the curse in the start ? And how did the curse get passed to Dr loomis at the end ? Simply by touch ?
The curse began many years before he was even born, this video I made can explain it better than I can here ua-cam.com/video/4LMzcULK0_o/v-deo.html
As for Loomis it seems the touch did it in the same way as Michael touching Jamie at the end of Part 4. The touch had an effect on her. Except in Loomis's case he became the protector since DR Wynn touched him. Protector to new Protector kinda thing I guess. But we will never know for sure since Donald Pleasance died right after filming ended for part 6
I agree and wish they didn’t kill storyline and kill off Halloween more the night he came home
Thank you for explaining this never ending Michael Myers story lol
but I don't get Dr Loomis being Myers's protector and now having to the Thorn tattoo on him.

And Why Micheal?? Why did the Cult Pick Micheal. Was it random?
theblue014 they never really say why, it is possible he was picked at random.
@@SonCarlosH so Michael Myers is immortal in every timeline except for the remake's?
@@GeneFOX70 as long as the Curse is still attached to him I believe he is indeed immortal. Though to be fair we have never seen Michael not be cursed except in the Rob Zombie films.

Myers needed to kill his bloodline to end the curse
Sorry about the delayed response but yes I do believe that was the direction the series wanted to go in.
Nicee
So Michael became a good guy after Halloween 6 and h20 and the movies after ignored the timeline?

Idk about Michael I think they should of made a another pt to Thorn letting her sister finding out why at least he is trying to kill her and why he won’t die but why not make a Halloween where baby Steven has the mark of Thorn passed to him
Edward Feeney unfortunately the box office and critical reaction caused the studio to give the series a soft reboot with H20 so they will probably never pick but the baby Steven story threads.

No Michael is a fictional character. Leatherface, on the other hand, from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series is based on the serial killer Ed Gein.
Did Dr. Wynn use his real voice or use his synthesizer voice when teaching Michael how to drive?
Check out my new video on the history of Haddonfield and the origins of the druid clan, just put it up last night!
he said delapitatid ,lol
This is so juicy man
Thanks I appreciate the positive feedback!
@@SonCarlosH u welcome twin
Idk why haven’t they made a Halloween movie where Thorn mark was passed to Steven Myers
I thought Tommy put the ultimate smackdown on Michael Myers. Beat him to a pulp, with that damn big ass pipe. Also, I thought Michael had went on and killed Dr. Wynn and his followers. I'm confused like a mug.
You need to go back and watch the Producer's Cut, the last 3rd of the film is completely different than the Theatrical cut u saw
6:54 lol
WeirdCityCitizen 😅
I'm not a big fan of this timeline because it doesn't make Michael "pure evil".The original,Rob's remake, and the 2018 timelines are my favorite because it makes Michael a heartless killer like he was always meant to be.
Thats ok, the Thorn timeline doesn't work for everyone but I really appreciate u dropping by the channel!
Rob’s remake Michael is not heartless. He is just have personal problem issues and needed someone there to help him.
Thanks for the comments! I would have loved to see what happened to Steven years later
Theater cut made no sense, Pcut is perfect
At least the theatre cut did Michael better. He's a psychopath in that version while in the Producers cut, he was a puppet.
I'm not saying that the Producers Cut is inferior, it did more to showcase Donald Plesance as well as the Strode family; but the theatrical cut did Michael and the cult subplot better.
@@christophercase6042 but it made no sense where the pcut did
Though the mask is not good its understandable that its different in H4 cause the first one was burned in H2.
Well at least Nick Castle is back for the new 2018 film, I dont know how many stunts he will preform but he will be back.
all4Hisgloryalone ...just a heads up the mask in part 1 was latex and since latex doesn't last long the mask was ruined.. that's way it wasn't used in any other parts
makes me sad to know that original mask is gone for good.
@Rbo SMF what about Nick Castle?
@Rbo SMF how do you feel about Tyler Mane?
So he gets mad for not being able to go trick or treating as a kid witch disturbs him
so he kill his family and the thrill of that takes over his young child mind and imagination
His thrill of killing is suppose to represent his abandoned childhood he never really got to enjoy on Halloween so every Halloween he does his idea of trick or treating 🤔
So Michael Myers not immoral or have super human strength?
Well considering he murders people he is quite immoral lol but I think you mean immortal. He is immortal in this timeline as he is bound to the curse. Once the curse is transmitted to someone else I believe he would be mortal again and would most likely lose his super human strength 💪
I do t get that ending and all that ending of part 6 that your showed are delete scenes and not on the finish product.
That is why i wrote "A history of Michael Myers from 1978's original up to the end of Halloween 6 The Producer's Cut" in the description.
It's the ORIGINAL cut of the film. Not deleted scenes.
How did jamie get pregnant in the producer’s cut version?
It's insinuated that Michael did under the control of the cult/curse. A rather disturbing thought to say the least.
too bad original story was never finnished
also who here have seen this 50 minutes video from cz's world called the original history of Michael myers?
does this curse also protect him from old age death? we know he is aging
Most definitely agreed. At least we have the comics and they can be found online
I thought I read that karas son stabbed her or killed her.
No you're thinking of Jamie when she stabbed her step mother
I-
If lourie strode died how in halloween h20 she came back to life
Toney Luckett actually she died in Halloween 8 Resurrection. The studio retconed the series after part 6. H20 ignores parts 4 thru 6.
Wrestling Movie Guy Thanks
Toney Luckett No problem thanks for watching!
H20 is a Reboot
The Wrestling Movie Guy fun fact the comic books actually made h20 Canon to all the film's
Love the passion for the Halloween series!
Black death you already know how much I feel about this and agree with you!
You might not like the new movie Halloween kills
厉害
The Wrestling Movie Guy why did Michael Myers killed his family and why did he had a thorn on his right wrist?
Amanda Morgan Like with the witchcraft of "Halloween 3", Michael was cursed to kill one family to control the population of a village. The biggest difference is Cochran wanted to kill 50 million American children in one fell swoop. An army of Michael Myers (like those Silver Shamrock androids) couldn't pull that off.
@@LatinSith And why did his sister Cynthia Myers (Laurie Strode) was spared after he was locked up for 15 years before he escaped? And why did the records must sealed to protect her from the madness?
@@amandamorgan4777 they didn't want her to grow up with the stigma of the Myers name
@@SonCarlosH so she now knows that Michael Myers been chasing her since his escape on October 30, 1978 the night before Halloween and she now knows that she's the sister of Michael Myers and Judith Myers
@@amandamorgan4777 in the this original timeline yes, with this new 2018 film on the other hand they are not related.
i wont defend the whole its mikes baby from jamie yea fucking sick but take that away the producers cut far better then the other version!!!!!
So he isn't dead ?
Zachery Grant in this timeline Myers is indeed alive, but they soft-rebooted the series with H20 and ignored the Thorn storyline. Which made me sad, I was really invested in it.
Very much alive.
Michael Myers ya daaaaaamn right
You can't kill the boogeyman
As long as Michael Myers has the Curse of Thorn, he cannot die in any way or form. Unless he kills his entire bloodline and his curse subsides, then he can be killed either by decapitation or powerful explosions that would shred him to pieces.
My issue with this is the extremely boring voice over. But a decent recap.
Þ
qu'est ce que ça peut faire … en vrai
I hate the ending in the producers cut
Aw that's a shame but hey it's not for everyone. This is a very polarizing film.
I'm not going to like this, bruh, because I don't want to ruin the 666 you have in the likes.
NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
