3D resin painted on silk flowers will coat the flower in a shiny resin glaze. There are products available to do this. You could also use a thin rolled piece of aluminum or wire to make a hole in the center for beading, putting it in before applying the resin to the petals. You have a 10 minute window to coat before the resin sets up. If you are doing many small flowers I would suggest wiring the center and sticking into a styrofoam base then painting the petals as a mass paint at a time working with just a bit of resin per batch you are doing. You can also fabric paint and dye the petals before doing this once they dry to make your own unique combinations.
Wow, the jacket looks stunning, so beautiful! The beading is gorgeous and I love how brilliant the colors look at night. It’s like they’re glowing. Beautiful bead work and color combinations. Really love this one! 😀🧥🌺💐🌷🌸🌻💖🎨
So stunning. As for bead shops there is a great one in Stratford NZ. Very out on the way but they are online and have an amazing selection. Just in case you needed to know😅.
As I said at the end of the video, any large fabric store or hobby store will have sequins. Stationary stores, office supply stores, kids toy stores and dollar stores usual sell novelty sequins. I'm just using up things in my own bead collection.
It's super expensive to get a heavily embellished jacket dry-cleaned. It's easier to just unpick the seams, clean the silk lining separately and sew it back in. I have a whole video about it. You can also spot-clean the outer jacket.
Thanks! You get used to wearing embellished jackets. My early jackets were simple and they've gotten more elaborate so I've gotten used to wearing them in a way that doesn't harm them.

What's the protocol for washing and maintainence?

It's a work of art i can't imagine how you wear it without damaging it. So beautiful and the colours and textures are so delicious.
