I've been using Acraglas Gel for decades and the only thing I didn't like about it was it's messy to work with and clean up. I finally purchased some of Brownells Acraglas solvent and that solved all the cleanup issues.
I buy the big syringes to apply it with. Makes it easier to apply. Can't get it now. Brownells is out of stock and lady told me they don't know when it will be available again.
any syringe work, i guess. There is plenty to pick between. Buy cheap, drill or cutt the hole if you need a bigger "hole" in the syringe. Buy cheap, use once.
I’ve found over the years too much is a better problem to have than not enough and having to redo it due to voids in the bedding. If you pull your barreled action early like I suggest, cleanup is as simple as trimming with a razor blade. Thanks for watching.
So I bedded a mosin yesterday and got up this morning to take it out of the stock and found that I got some acraglas into the tang screw area and now I can't get the screw out. Thought I had cleaned it up really well, but apparently not. Any suggestions on how to get the screw out?
Is it just me or does anyone notice how many videos that people put on here and set up with them blocking the dang work with there hands while showing others how to do something. I have done several rifles myself with good success so I am really here just to see what other methods or tricks others use but man it's frustrating watching guys block what they are trying to show, does anybody watch their video before putting it on you tube!

Great video. Have you ever bedded a Sauer 100 action? It would be very interesting to see. It has a unique stock to action fit.
I have not. It shouldn’t need bedded with the aluminum bedding block they have for the recoil lug area
@@shreckenguns6133 That's what I thought also. Never hurts to get a second opinion. Thank You

I use marinade needles for similar things. That should work well for this. Just cut the point off so it comes out the tip & not the sides
Curious.....why did you not bed the tang?
Did you use enough compound? Wow! If it works that’s all that matters
