- In today's episode I'm showing one of Thailand worst infamous scams, The Taxi Scam! It's happened to me a few times during my stay in Thailand and I managed to film some of them on my way to Rayong. In this video I'm also visiting Rayong which is a famous place for beautiful sunsets. Enjoy watching it. #thailand #rayong #scammer
In the airport there is an official taxi system where they will take you fro A to B and can only use the meter. The official taxi rank is 24/7 so you have no excuse. Also if a taxi driver does not switch on the meter then do not go with him. The problems you received is your fault. I have lived here 25 years. Also the taxi driver using the app on his mobile is also correct, this is another system they use here.
Thank you for your advise, I appreciate it. Btw It’s definitely not my fault that the taxi driver at the airport wanted to rip me off😉
You always have a choice..
Tell me what choice I had at midnight, at Bangkok airport, where there was no buses, no trains etc and moreover I had no Wi-Fi.
@@georgesowa13 Very easy mate. Could have asked someone to book a grab/bolt for you. Also could have used airport wifi to book a taxi by yourself wtf
@@G13RSthe airport Wi-Fi didn’t work at all and I tried to ask a few people to order it for me but no one couldn’t be bothered 😕 so I didn’t have any other choice than take this damned taxi🫣
Yep, NO OTHER CHOICE 😂😂😂
@@scienceevolves4417 what would you do at midnight, at Bangkok airport, where there was no buses, no trains etc and moreover I had no Wi-Fi?
How is that scam?! 😅 He said BEFORE the ride what price he wanted. Also easy to demand the driver uses the meter duh
It was a scam! Normal price for that ride is 150 Thai Baht, he charged me 400!
