- hello hello, welcome to a a slow, peaceful week of bumbling about at home, walking through the woods, ducks, dogs, blanket forts, cold cups of coffee & doing some relaxing chores and cleaning. How have you been? What are you reading? I've been switching back and forth between Nausicaa and Kiki's Delivery Service the past week and both have been so magical and lovely, especially needed to balance out the terrifying books I've been reading! A slow week is honestly so appealing especially now exams are done; I'm just flicking between rereading favourites and making cups of tea, while having Netflix binges, it feels good to just breathe and enjoy moments I guess ☺

Emma lives like how you know how people having a busy tired famous life in the public eye all throughout their 30s and 40s and then they go and live in the hills among plants and animals and nature,and grow their own food and live in peace away from the city. She's living that nice life now and it's so calming to watch.

I've never planted tomatoes, but some grew in my backyard a month ago or so, and oh god, it grows and spreads so much and quickly! I now constantly have tiny tomatoes which is great, of course. I even got to do some sauce for some past on the weekend.

From Dante to Galileo' by Paul Strathern (non-fiction) and another non-fiction book 'The House of Fragile Things' by James McAuley which is about Jewish art collectors and the Fall of France and their fates after the Nazi occupation of France.
