Great video man. As someone who has seen 4501 in person, you did a great job capturing the beauty and pride of steam locomotives. The only locomotive missing in action that I believe deserves a mention was 4014. Though it’s on the other side of the country so I understand.
425 gets it, then again, what do you expect putting a heavy load on a light pacific. Loudest engine, second to that of Frisco 1522. I'm sure 4014 would have an excellent stack talk if UP ever decides to use more than 10% of it's power. Seeing 4014 personally was an awe experience, but I want to see that big brute at work. Just put a string of 145 container cars behind and pull up a grade unassisted like they did with it's smaller brother 3985.
I personally love 475’s stack talk. Just has so much character to it rather than, again in my opinion, 425’s obnoxious loud stack talk. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the sound of 425, but I just like 475’s better.
Whenever I watched this video, it made think of that Thomas and Friends movie called Hero of the Rails. Have you ever seen the movie? It’s pretty good.
Would you guys wanna see me expand a little series like this overtime?
I'd love to see more videos like this. Great work!

you know what... I take that back.....
475 has a unique beat to it but most of 425s stack talk is sharp and crazy loud. 8:11 has to be the greatest stack talk ive captured
Amazing.
Thanks.

no i havent seen that
Would be cool one day if 425 can doublehead with Strasburg 90? I smell a doubleheader in the future!
I would definitely be there for that lol
Awesome video! What camera do you use
Thanks! Most of these shots were filmed with a Sony HDR CX-675 and the rest were filmed with a GoPro Hero 5 Black
9:48 They better clean that thing before it starts a forest fire.

10:03 Look at all those cinders shooting off into the dry foliage. . . Not good. . .
It hasnt caused a problem in PA. The Foliage isnt dry actually. And plus coal has been mined in PA for a very long time.
