I camped there 2 years ago, in April... all the spiders were hatching in these web pods on branches 🕷🕸 I was horrified 😳. Then I woke up at 4am to pee, found the elevation had given me vertigo... stumbled my way in the pitch dark to our shower/potty tent like a drunkin sailor 😂... I left the next morning too... ❤🐾❤🐾 Sending all my love!

Oh little Joey is so handsome and he KNOWS it too! I LOVED watching him play with his toy. 2 hrs is a pretty good turn around for a bath and clip. They did a really nice job. I was amazed how quickly the snow melted at your campsite.

I got a vesta insta-fire. It is a stove top and produces heat with no use of electricity. Safe for indoors and compact in size. I love it, it takes the chill out and is multi use.

I have a Yorkie named Oscar, he's just like Joey,loves a tou with a squeeker.The view of the mountains was amazing.I would have left too,if there was a snow forecast.I would prefer a little warmer and sunshine.

That is a beautiful place, hard to believe it is so close to the Las Vegas Strip. Joey always cracks me up. I have a 100# bull dog that gets the same amount of joy from a new squeaky as Joey. Problem is it doesn't take long for him to fix it so it doesn't squeaky any more. The snow was a nice touch, and even better it melted quickly. See you next Sunday.

(New neighbor, she was not pleased at my interference) A couple of hours later I was walking down the street and saw the same little dog get killed by a car) I am devastated. There is a lot of free camping near LV on the shores of Lake Mead. Another plus for the lake is the proximity of shopping & restaurants in the nearby town of Henderson. The temps are warmer there, too, as it is at a lower elevation than Lovell Canyon. But a rather small fee is charged to camp at Lake Mead.
