Hugs to you. Lost my Pop when he was 57. That was in 1984 and I still miss him. Hold tight to your memories- and remember grief comes in waves washing over you suddenly then receding. With time it will be less like drowning and more like a gentle rain. Remember he lives on in you! Travel well!

As a parent all we want is for our children to be happy and healthy and living their best life, you are doing that and he could watch you and see how you were doing. I understand and am so sorry. My dad died on Father's Day in 1979 and my mom died one week after Mother's Day from Cancer in 2004. My oldest sister died two weeks before Thanksgiving of M.S in 2006. So it's never easy but I have comfort that they believed in Jesus Christ. ❤️

My sincere sympathy. My Dad died at 47 and my husband died at 53. Both heart related. The loss is great. Grief is a road with its up and downs. Just know it will be an emotional drive for a long time. Don't get mad with your feelings. They will figure themselves out in time. Reach out for emotional help. We are here for you but also reach out to friends and family who can be with you on the physical side. Sometimes just someone who can take your hand or give a huge hug will be a big welcome to you. I know how you are feeling. I lost my Dad back in 2020. He died of an aggressive form of cancer. Just remember all the good memories of him and honor him. Look for signs of him communicating with you. I am sending you love and prayers.

My mom passed in 2021. She was my world. I took care of her till her last breath at 93. It just about broke me. I look at my life through her eyes. Always live to be my best and never take tomorrow for granted. Peace and love Chantelle.

Be kind to yourself. It's a tough time. I lost my dad when I was 20. He had had serious heart issues when he passed at 59. Lost my mom a year and a half ago. Take your time and know that grief is different for everyone. I heard something that helped recently. Grief is love that has nowhere to go. Mom's second husband (not my father) is also someone I don't talk about unless I have to. It's an ugly situation and best left behind.

99% of the accounts I follow I feel like a long distance friendship with in a weird but respectful way? So I’m grieving this along with you as I have never dealt with my father’s passing. I found out while dealing with becoming disabled at legal drinking age from a google search. We all want more years with our loved once who pass so young. We have just memories to full the emptiness we feel now. Our emotions jump around trying to understand why now. There is so much unfinished plans in relationships.

I am so sorry!!!! The pain you feel when you lose a parent is so intense and so deep!!!! My dad was 49 I was 25 when we lost him. That was 35 years ago the pain has eased over time . I can now remember him and smile with a lot less tears and you will too but it will take time. There is no time frame on grief and everyone grieves differently please remember that and take care of you!!!!
