Thank you so much for saving that sweet puppy and finding him a loving home. I have a horse rescue at my house Called Horse North Rescue in Michigan. It's heartbreaking when animal control contacts us to pick up a horse that has been starved and abused. People have no idea how common it is that people abandon, starve and abused animals in our country . Thank you again for saving this sweet boy. I wish more people would care enough to help the animals that have no one . You young lady have a heart of gold. ❤️🐎🐕❤️

So many heartless people dump their pets. Almost all of my pets over the last 60 years were abandoned by someone dumped at my place in the country. Thanks for having the heart to rescue this fine puppy. Also thanks for sharing the lovely campgrounds.
The end of the video with Russ made me cry. I hate that people treat animals like they are disposable. Thank you for rescuing him. So happy he will be getting a forever home with people who will love him as he deserves.
What a pretty place to stay, love the lake. Joey is always so cute. How sad when people do that, if you don't want the pet or can't afford it, please take it to the nearest town and give it to the animal shelter. That is so mean to let it just starve to death. Thank you for your kindness.

Love the Campground. I like how there are picnic tables with a roof over them. In Canada they do not have that in Campgrounds. Which would be great to have. Wanted to say too how could the owner leave Russ like that so sad.. 😢 but you know what, you were meant to go to that campground and now Russ will have a better home. So glad your Dad decided to take him. Russ was not meant to stay with previous owner.

We currently have 3 rescue dogs here and one is so scared of everything. He had been terribly mistreated by his previous owners. And he is the smartest and sweetest boy EVER. It breaks my heart how some humans can be so cruel to a helpless little animal. I am a firm believer in Karma though, and the jerks who treat them bad will get theirs in due time.

Oh I’m so glad you rescued Russ and your dad will give him a forever home. He’s such a pretty dog and so sweet. The came site was perfect and came with a surprise for sure. Maybe the previous owner couldn’t afford to feed him so left him in hope someone else would care for him? Either way, Russ is safe now. I’m so glad you were able to care for and love him. Not being able to feed your animal is one thing but he was, as you can tell, abused in more ways than that if he keeps putting his tail between his legs when Chantelle makes any sudden movements. He was probably smacked a lot and who knows what else. That's very sad! I'm relieved that Russ will now get the love and attention he deserves! 👍💙

Some humans are just awful and not worthy of the unconditional love of a pet. But there are also angels and you were an angel for this beautiful boy. He deserves every happiness and you and your dad provided that. ❤️

I think Russ knew you were a kind and caring person when he saw you with Joey! I hope he can settle in with your dad and get over his fears. He’s a beautiful dog - so hard to imagine someone just leaving him. What is wrong with people? Even if his owner had fallen on hard times, they could’ve taken him to a shelter. He’s such a sweetie he would’ve been adopted quickly. Anyway, thanks for taking responsibility for him and loving him. And I think even Joey is starting to get used to him! At first I was feeling a bit jeolous because I've been feeling very down after a conversation with my adult son, I was wishing I was there with you camping. Such a beautiful area you found, I love it, never been there. Wow the dog, poor thing. I'm pretty sure he was abused by someone. So glad he's gonna have a great home, that's so exciting. Awesome just awesome all around. At the end the Russet and Joey seem like they are getting along pretty well.

Thank u for taking the dog. There needs to be more people like you. I don’t know why people cannot take a animal to a shelter instead of dump them. People dump cats at the dumpster near my house all the time. So sad.
Dogs are better than a lot of humans. They are very resilient so once he sees he’s not going to be abused he’ll be very happy and loyal. Thank you so very much for being a loving human.

Wondering Chantele if maybe he stays around that park and goes to the campers that come. He looks.like with his ribs showing he might be a wanderer. When people come , he gets friendly with them, but they don't want a dog, so they go off and leave him. God bless you for finding a home for him. He trusts your kindness that's why he stays with you. Thank you for saving Russ. When I was little my mom use to make us abandon my dogs in the dessert. I hate her for that and has scarred me for life. That’s why I am vegan and I love animals so much. I have no sympathy for people who abuse animals
$3.49/gallon would be a dream! Here in southern california i just paid $6.00/gallon. UGH. And that's cheap compared to some other gas stations.
