Ive always liked my Marlin 60 with tube magazine and very accurate Microgroove barrel (better than 10-22). Had it 60+ YEARS took a licking and and is still ticking.
You do a video and call it the most accurate 22s, then put in mostly semi auto rifles? There isn’t a single rifle in this video that would not be outshot by a cz457, a bergara b14r, a vudoo v22, a rim x, or an anshutz. This list is highly misleading and actually terrible advice. People who watch vids like this are mostly new shooters trying to research what to buy and this kind of advice will only cause said shooter to waist money and be disappointed in the shooting sports. Calling your list decent rifles to check out or something like that would be ok but most accurate? Not even on a good day.
I have a CZ 452 Trainer and a 457 Royal. They are beautifully made and outshoot all my friends .22s. They are pricier but you get more than you pay for.
The cz457 is one of the most accurate 22 rifle in the world today and not one of these rifles will come close to shooting half as good as a cz believe that. Beagleman
Lewis i have a cz 455 thumbhole. I would never sell it with an optisan viper on it. it shoots hole in hole on 100 meters. and point made point out ,. lol
I am a lifetime Master as well as an NRA Distinguished Expert in 22. When I was shooting in college I won the Texas collegiate championship. I used, in fact almost all of us, used Anschutz. In my case a model 1413. Everyone used Eley tenex ammo. The difference between winning a prone match and loosing came down to a millimeter or 2. In a 3 position half course (600 possible) top to bottom might be 10 points. I started shooting at 11; I went through Mossberg, Remington and Winchester before arriving at Anschutz MK10, which I got when I was 14. When I needed at better gun I shot a Winchester 52C until I was 17 and could afford a 1413. In all of that shooting, I have never found a 22 that I could outshoot. I think that the real measure is that some of them are easy to shoot well and others you have to work hard to shoot well. The Ruger 10/22 is the easiest to trick out to the point that you have a custom gun when you're done. I have 5 22 rifles: 2 Winchester bolt action, 2 Anschutz bolt action and a Ruger 10/22. In my opinion, a bolt action is a tiny bit more accurate. Second, a suppressed 22 bolt action with subsonic ammo is as quiet as you can get.
I am a high master NRA high ( small bore and high power ). I would also add that America no longer makes a real competition small bore rifle. Anschutz and or Finwerkbaugh are about the only choice a seroius competetor has. Further, in serious comprtition, one does not use high veloocity ammunition in t at, unlike centerfire ammunition, rimfire ammunition becomes more unstable above the speed of sound ( roughly 1200 ft/sec ). So buy a Ruger, then find an old Winchester 52 or Remington 40X, but if you really get serious, you'll end up with a Anschutz 54 in or or another configuration. Like a lot of other tools, you start out cheap and work up, eventually spending more than if you just went ahead with the best to start with.
Cz or semiautomatic cz. If you want to go budget used marlin 60s or used marlin bolt ( there are actually a few) I shot a cz 457 that unfortunately wasn't mine that put round after round in the same hole, I don't mean clover leafs or touching, I mean same hole!!! This was at 50 yards!!! I would never have believed it had I not seen and done it.
That's a great analogy. I don't have a mod.64, but I have other Savage rifles and they are right up there in the accuracy department. They just don't look or feel like they should be. I do have Snap- On tools and you are right. I keep those Chinese tools out in the shed where if they get rusty it doesn't matter.
Some of the guns have not been produced for a number of years so sort of hard to make them be on a best to buy in 2024 list. No CZ and with the Henry why show the heavy golden boy when there are much less expensive and just as accurate Henry lever models available. And a Winchester wildcat and a factory stock base model 10/22 on a most accurate list, do you know what accuracy is?
My scoped out .22 Ruger 10/22 that I bought new in 1968 takes a close 2nd place to my post WW2 Springfield Model 67A "gill gun" bolt action semi automatic with iron sights. With a barrel 6 inches longer than that of the Ruger, it is the most accurate .22 in my arsenal. And very fun to shoot.
I suppose it depends on your application. Bolt action may be more accurate than semi in competition, but for hunting I much prefer my Browning SA22. It's very accurate, small, lightweight. I can carry it all day and not get tired, even with a 3x9 scope. It's almost elegant. For squirrels, the noise of a single .22 shot can bounce around in the woods and confuse a squirrel who just watched his partner fall to the ground. Not knowing where the danger is, the second squirell often freezes on high alert, waiting for any noise or movement to know which way to run. If I have to chamber a second shot using bolt or lever action I give away my advantage. Semi is much better - no movement on my part. And bottom eject minimizes the chance of a spent cartridge flying off sideways through a sunbeam and throwing a flash of light. The Browning is such a great squirrel gun. AB -
I purchase a Clark Special at a gun shop. The previously owned rifle features a new accurized trigger, a Walther match barrel and a custom stock. Very reliable rifle that places shots well up to 100 yards for small pests such as ground squirrels. It out-shoots my Ruger 77/22 (with a bolt action) and can be quickly moved from target to target because of its semi-automatic action. The rifle is built for precision shooting, and it has not failed to produce it. Ruger might have offered its own precision 10/22 since I bought my rifle (over ten years ago), and if they have, I would not hesitate to recommend it. The kicker: How much accuracy do you need, and how much do you want to spend?
just a heads up on the Marlin model 60, Remington sold out to Ruger and since the Model 60 is the direct competitor to the 10/22, they no longer make the model 60 or parts for it, they do not offer any gunsmithing services for them, and any and all warranties are null and void. that being said, there are aftermarket options on some parts.
I cannot believe y'all did not include the Beretta ARX-160. It is an incredibly accurate and unique 22LR rifle. But I can tell by this lineup this was really just an ad for these specific rifles.
I think you forgot to mention the CZ452 Ultra Lux. It is by far the most accurate. Beating many of the one listed on your video. It will stack lead at 100 when shooting from a bench rest.
Yes, we all clearly love our CZs…however, I defy anyone to explain how my CZ 455 and my (Sears) JC Higgins 103 both maintain 9:00 dime sized groups at 100 yds ?
Questionable video at best. • You have two guns, the T/C T/CR22 and the Marlin 39A, that are no longer in production. • Ranking the Winchester Wildcat ahead of the Tikka T1X is ludicrous • I would have put the Savage Mark II, A22, or B22 on the list ahead of the Model 64, and finally, • You omitted possibly the best .22 rifle available today - the CZ 457.
I've owned a multitude of 22's, semi, bolt, & lever. Ruger or Savage wouldn't even make this list in my opinion. Best of the best, from the large manufactures: 1) Sako Quad Varmint; 2) Bergara B14R, 3) CZ457 - pick your variant. Although I've never owned a Tikka rimfire, I put it on the list given the fact that Sako is related to Tikka. WRT to 10/22 style rifles, I've never owned a Volquartsen, but I did put a Volquartsen barrel on a Magnum Research Lite Switchbolt - with no discerning change in accuracy found. Both shot well, so save your money and go with the MR over a Volquartsen. Thompson Center 10/22's are better than Ruger, if cost is a factor. Lastly, Henry's are cool. I've owned two, but they are not in the same league as a bolt action 22LR.
Saw a Win Wildcat in a gunstore and found it light, small and nice overall. Went home to check how it was when it comes to accurcy. Not a single review with good results. It was really underperforming. Shocked it comes in as second best here..
I know a guy that only shots .22. He is wheelechaired and does' the extremely high tech accurate guns that don't even look like guns. It's a table mounted tube with a special adjustment he says that, per type of round, you can put bullets in the same hole 10 shots in a row from 100 yards.

Buy a Winchester Lever action You will never go back to the “Henry” which is NOT THE HENRY of the 1800s Its a pot metal junk with a sheet metal cover over the receiver Held in place with 4 flat head screws that is painted instead of being blued like the barrel because bluing won’t work on sheet metal and cast pot metal

Sold all Remington s 513 t 514 512 512 tubed the anshultz 54 bolt was put in all Olympic rifles
Agree with most own cz bergara and kimber but the Marlin 60 atleast 30 years old still shoots with or out shooting any other one but guess it's the luck of the draw but this list is a joke
People tend to forget at the Marlin model, 60 with his microgroove barrel is a very accurate little rifle. Marlon made millions of them as well as a very accurate little bolt action, 22 rifle.
Not One Annie in this list??? You are in denial, Sir! I would put up my ANSCHUTZ 1712 22LR SILHOUETTE SPORTER, MONTE CARLO against any of your list! Plus if I wanted to get Really Serious then I would put up My Match 54 against your entire list!
Cant believe you left off the CZ. The CZ is a nail driver far above most on this list. This list just made up to fill space for a video. Do not take advice from this video because there is nothing accurate about the video either.
Still looking for a video with a real person who has experience with the guns, instead of a script being read by a robot or voice actor with stock footage. Basically I’m sick of sifting through undisclosed ads

Sold all Remington s 513 t 514 512 512 tubed the anshultz 54 bolt was put in all Olympic rifles
maybe you should call this the po po zone
Agree with most own cz bergara and kimber but the Marlin 60 atleast 30 years old still shoots with or out shooting any other one but guess it's the luck of the draw but this list is a joke
People tend to forget at the Marlin model, 60 with his microgroove barrel is a very accurate little rifle. Marlon made millions of them as well as a very accurate little bolt action, 22 rifle.
Nothing wrong, same spec's, a Marlin, but im also a fan of the nylons
the 10/22 is a great semi auto and the henry is a nice lever but most accurate come on. you fell off the earth on the savage review.
Remington 510.........
SO SO list...several dont belong and you left better rifles off the list.
What a joke this list is, LOL A POS 64 but not one CZ, people we need to protest this channel!
I thought you said the most accurate, oh I get it you are getting paid to sell these for these companies and you are embellishing !
