Kidney transplant pre-operation test- My journey

Hi guys! In this video, I'd like to show you my pre-operation appointments. You can hear, in my surgeon's words, the detailed description of how a kidney transplant happens. We spent almost all day at the hospital and, although I was exhausted, we still went to do a little sightseeing in San Diego, CA. It was a long but fun day with my donor and my sister-in-law.
A few days later, my donor and I went for a Covid-19 test as a part of the pre-operation requirements. I was totally dreading having the test done. I was very afraid of the swab because it just looked pretty scary. I had a covid test done before when I started dialysis but it was just a saliva sample.
