Oikawa is the most complex and intelligent character in the entire series. You’ll understand why he is the goat by S2E24. His cockiness is a total cope for his insecurity with Kageyama.
Oikawa is much like LeBron in the fact that he is confident, he is experienced, he is strong, and although he has unrivaled chemistry with his teammates he is not limited to a setter. He can 100% play any position that he wants. Kageyama is kind of different. He is a very fundamental and orthodox player while Oikawa is more on the flashy side. I think that there is no true NBA comparison for Kageyama.
@@chairofthebored Kageyama, while extremely fundamental, is still a tad extreme with his playstyle. He has an ego when he plays and it shows on the court. I'm not entirely sure if that captivates a player as humble as Tim Duncan. That being said, both players are rather quiet and a bit dorky.
@@elesaslounge733 I don't exactly like that comparison given that Kageyama is a very agile and athletic player and all of his movements look fluid and natural, while Luka looks like a dancing whale when he plays.
At the end of the day scoring points is what wins the game, if you can go straight for the point without the ball even properly going into play, which btw also sets you up to be able to do it again, why wouldn't you? Once they have a rally going Oikawa is very much a team player capable of bringing out the best in his team, a dump is also just a tool that anyone can use because it's unexpected.

Also Service is the only way where you can score when there are no blocks so which is why they would call it "Service Ace" when they score. And Oikawa's power serve is strong weapon because if you can't receive it properly then they will just score and score so all those plays they thought of will be ineffective if they can't receive the ball so yea. "he kind of is tho" HWAHGAJHAHAHAHAH
Also I'm living for Suraj's excitement, I think he's hooked now
idk how ya'll can hate on Oikawa. My dude's literally the definition of hard work and team player.
Long "Neck" Oikawa 👑
I love you. Don't stop. Season 2 is even more fun.

Oikawa is my favourite
Attempt #676: of trying to get The Normies to check out Sym-Bionic Titan or Primal.
Both made by Genndy Tartakovsky, the guy who made Samurai Jack.
Keep fighting the good fight man
Guys, you are ignoring that Oikawa is always saying he is not a genius while Kageyama is. Plus he is a good leader (always paying attention to his team) and knows how to play mind games with the opposite tem which is amazing(ly irritating). You'll get to know and nderstand him more on the 2nd season but just pay attention to when he talks and you'll notice he is actually one of the most complex characters. Good reaction tho!
Just wait till you fall in love with oikawa
I can't wait for
spoilers
Oikawa to wipe the floor with them when they all watch that last ball drop.
Thought this will help.
*Date tech:* Best Defence in the Miyabi Prefecture.

Youll learn to love oikawa trust me

It will took some times but I really can't wait to see the reaction with Inarizaki. Oh, I mean after the match with Shiratorizawa. Well, let's just wait till the revenge match against Aoba J.
Why some of the comments are showing 1 month ago. How?
