I appreciate you being part of the community Mark.
To apply my tip tops I usually heat the stick up and smush it onto a small cutting board.
Then I will scrape it up with my finger nail and roll it into a cylinder the size of the tube.
Then I will put the glue into the tube, heat it up, and slide it onto the blank.
Works good until you have an ultralight tip. Then it gets tricky to cut the glue cylinder small enough to fit the tube.

I am into my 3rd rod build and want to expand my work shop/area to be more efficient or a cleaner operation than my "do all" work bench. Once again, Thank you! I like your load tester gizmo, what angle did you set it at? I know you did say in the video but can't remember lol. I've built everything from my power wrapper to the thread carriages and am about to make a load tester like your one... Love watching your videos, based in New Zealand...
I set mine around 30 degrees from horizontal. Thanks for watching from down under. NZ is one of my bucket list places to visit.
