This was extremely helpful. I’ve done eBay since forever ( I’m 68 and was selling my kids used skates. Kids now have grown kids) but on January 1st , I decided it was going to be my new business. I have tons of inventory ( sourcing is FUN) and I have been doing a decent job of listing slowly, daily. A few weeks ago I decided I would set up the starter store, since I did very good for the month of January. I am really stuck now with the banner for the store. I have played around in Canva and eBay’s suggested adobe express and it’s a nightmare. On Canva, do you have a suggestion for the store banner? I think I’m using the same word eBay does. I watch your videos every once in a while, as I do many other resellers, but you are a born teacher. You are very clear and succinct. I appreciate that. Also, I do almost everything from my smart phone, although I do have a laptop and can use my husbands desktop. I just find listings so much easier from my phone. I might have to do my listing on my phone and then force myself to do my seller tools on the computer. Thanks for all of your videos!

@@AngStoyn318 Yes. Customers will have those two options to choose from. They choose whatever suits them best. If they choose Ground Advantage I use my own packaging. If they choose Priority Mail I use whatever Priority packaging suits the item best- whether it's an envelope, padded flat rate, box etc. Priority Mail has the same shipping time no matter the packaging. So I don't find adding the option for Flat Rate Padded envelope to the listings is necessary. I choose regular priority and use whatever priority packaging (regular or flat) I think is best when I make a sale.

Sandra, in another video tutorial, you mentioned a low-priced item usually means someone just trying to get rid of items from their closet, and people will usually just pass them up. This concerns me because I am selling out of my closet. I plan on going out resourcing, but in the meantime, I want to sell my clothes. My clothes are in good condition and used while I was working as a manager at a hospital. I haven't sold much, so I think you are correct, but I don't want to yard sell or donate them. Any suggestion for me.
I sent an item to the wrong buyer. I paid for it to be sent back. The item they wanted was sent to another buyer. How can I find out who was sent the item she wanted?
A good way to prevent that from happening is to write the name of the item on back for the label when you print it. I dont print bulk labels, I do them individually to avoid this.
