I got a tip for you guys. In the PS5 version the loading time from Faruum azula to the Castelward tunnel grace is around 8 seconds. I manage to quit at 7.6 - 7.8 seconds (using my phone chronometer of course) and it worked multiple time in a row
Worked for me on PS5 06/05/24. I had to pulled out a stopwatch. I’d start the stopwatch as soon as I hit ok, then close the game at intervals. I started at 7 seconds, and i was too fast because I was still where I started. 8 seconds was too long because I loaded into Limgrave. 7.80 seconds was the time it worked.
@@iluvlamas1288 I would hit the PS button and then option>close game. It didn’t matter if I was able to see the load screen since I was doing it all based on the timer. I’d just make sure to start my timer RIGHT when I hit ok to fast travel, and stopped the timer right when I closed game. If you end up leaving Farum azula, you shorten the time next attempt. If you didn’t go anywhere, you lengthen the time next attempt.
@@psmlid4433 pressing triangle twice is just a quicker way to jump to a fast travel point. Before pressing triangle twice will work you have to select a site of grace and save it to your favorites.

nope that's what you do, if your on Xbox just hover over quit game and hit it before it fully loads, and for PlayStation you need to set a timer because the HUD blocks it
i'm on pc.. i've tried doing alt+f4 before the loading finishes either by a little bit or when it starts.. it didn't work for me, and after I do alt+f4 my game takes a while working in the background for like 1 minute and I've tried closing it from the taskbar and opening the game and still nothing worked

for pc you might have to do it a bit earlier in the loading bar, becaus elden ring like to run in the background even if you close it, i saw my brother do it and he pressed alt-f4 when it was about a quarter way through the loading bar and it worked, sorry i can't explain it any better since i don't play on pc
If you're having issues using alt+f4, you can always try running the game windowed, so that you can close it immediately by pressing the X instead 🤔 You may have gotten it by now, but this could be helpful for any future play through maybe lol

yes it works on ps4 and yes you should press triangle 2 but only if you marked castleward tunnel otherwise you can just press triangle then square for roundtable hold

@@jasonshepherd4771 it doesn't break anything as long as you don't progress too far, from my own experience no questline broke unless I killed the godskin duo in farum adult, and you don't even need to wrong Warp to leyndell since there's a trap chest in the weeping peninsula that takes you there, and it doesn't break any quest as long as you don't kill Morgott or something.
The timing in ps4 must be insanely difficult… I have been trying for 2 hours and nothing. Man I just want to do two more endings to get the platinum and I am done I swear. I just wanna play the dlc knowing I did everything the base game offers.
@@_SleepySoul_ In the end, I gave up and did it the legit way, haha I cleared the bosses super easily. If I had kept trying the wrong warp, I probably would have never succeeded. And no, I didn't use a timer because I was doing it visually, the loading screens didn't have a constant duration on my ps4.
that's probably why you couldn't get it... going off the changes in the screen won't work, since the moment the screen changes it's already took late...
I SWEAR I COULD KISS YOU, IT WORKS! (Ps4) So it took a couple tries ofc but what i did was stare at the bar, it got close to the end but wasnt 100% so as soon as it got to the 100% mark it took five seconds to fully load in and take me to the tunnel- I restarted it and did it again- i instead waited for 3 seconds as it hit the 100% mark and quit, logged back in and it worked!
I would accept a kiss, thank you for sharing what console you're on and the process. it seems people on ps4 have difficulty with it but since I don't play ps4 I can't speak on how to do it better when it comes to the timing of closing out the game, and people on pc are unable to do it as well, though that seems to be because of something called steam sync which they can disable and do it fine, I'm glad you were able to get it!
what grace are you using? roundtable hold loads faster so if you're using that switch to castleward tunnel grace, you can also use the memory of grace item to increase loading time by a bit, however you'll have to click teleport as you hear the confirmation sound, so make sure you mark castleward tunnel if you do it this way so you can just press "y" twice then teleport, I hope this helps, sorry I couldn't offer better advice, my loading time Is slow I've never had to deal with super fast loading time 🤣
whoops sorry, i did it with and without using mempry of grace, i had the ai speak for the video with the memory of grace and i forgot to take it out, because i found out it was easier getting to farum without using the memory of grace so i decided to upload that instead, don't worry about not hearing it because theres no confirmation sound of using the memory of grace item in the video, that's my fault.

@@lorenzrenner1866for some reason in the video it didnt capture the entire loading screen, i closed it out when there was a fraction left so if you're closing it out before that it wont work, i hover over the quit game option in the xbox menu while its in the loading bar so i can get it fast enough. You can also try to use the memory of grace if you want, if you watch the mountaintop of the giants skip video i explained how to do it there and you can use it for this skip as well, i think it makes the loading screen time longer so you have a little bit longer to be able to do it. Sorry if this reply wasn't what you were looking for. i dont know which part of the wrong warp that you may be getting wrong however it's probably the timing for closing out the game since that was my problem as well, i suggest hovering over the quit game option and qutting when it has a fraction left, when the bar is loading after you teleport to castleward tunnel theres about half a second or so where the bar doesnt fully complete at the end, and thats when you want to quit out the game. if this doesn't work please feel free to let me know, ill see if i can do it a different way.

I don't think you're stupid and it isn't patched, wrong warp skips are very tricky it needs to be precise, so if you end up at the castleward tunnel or the Rountable hold, whichever grace you used, you waited too long to close the game, if you end up on crumbling faruum azula, you didn't wait long enough, you have to close out the game right before the screen starts to go black, I don't know which console you're on, but if your on Xbox you just need to watch the loading bar, if your on PlayStation you need a timer because the HUD when closing a game blocks off the loading bar, and if you're on pc you need to turn off steam sync, I hope this helps, if it doesn't please let me know

What did you do to close the game? Did you just go to the menu, open the Elden ring menu, then hit close game or did you do something quicker

that's true but some people like to do speed runs or get to an area to help their friend, like if they entered ng+ but their friend or someone else asked for help and they're at a later area, and sometimes it's just fun 🤣
