PM NABBANJA HANDS OVER ENTEBBE BOTANICAL GARDENS TO MINISTRY OF TOURISM

The Prime minister Robinah Nabbanja has handed over management of Entebbe Botanical gardens to ministry of Tourism, wildlife and Antiquities for development into a modern tourist site.
The facility located in Entebbe town municipality, has been under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries.
The Entebbe Botanical Gardens was established in 1898 by the first curator, A Whyte, close to the shores of Lake Victoria.
