Birding Uganda - Entebbe Botanical Gardens

On our first day in Uganda we visited the Entebbe Botanical Gardens. With almost 450 species recorded in this one location, this was the perfect introduction to the birds of Uganda.

As someone who lives in the US, the birds in africa are nothing youve seen before and its hard for me to pick favorites, Plaintain eaters and turacos are so pretty, and there are so many uniqe hornbills but I think the African Openbill has to be Number 1 on my list
