Insta360 Sponsorship Scandal - Should you buy?? Reactions and Thoughts!

Should you buy an Insta360 product??
My thoughts and reactions, as well as decisions going forward, after finding out that Insta360 was attempting to hide sponsorship of videos by content creators.

Thank you, Todd for being HONEST even though some people say: "HONESTY does NOT PAY". From now on, any UA-camr who does NOT disclose if their video is sponsored or not, I'll SKIP IT. Moreover, any one who does NOT MENTION the DISADVANTAGE of the product they're reviewing, I'll skip it too. It's because in REALITY, NOTHING is PERFECT. It's not worth my time & view. The saddest thing about this scandal is there are A LOT of reviewers of Insta360 cameras on UA-cam but only a 7 people including you SPEAK UP against this UNLAWFUL PRACTICE (in North America at least). Your act speaks volume about your integrity. It proves that you will NOT do anything for money. This world NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU. Thanks again. Yeah, I'm always suspect of the reviews that are all positive and no negatives or criticism at all. Nothing is perfect. It makes me suspect the motivation of the video when that happens. And yeah, I've seen some of the other videos you mention from creators that have addressed this issue. I'll watch the ones I haven't, so thanks for mentioning them. Hopefully with this kind of attention Insta360 will be forced to take significant action.

I agree with you. I think insta 360 makes good products. I just bought the ace pro and I like it. One things for sure though is that the insta 360 marketing team is in some hot water and maybe they need to restructure that team. They didn’t even have to do that though. Insta 360 cameras are solid in my opinion but their marketing team should be ashamed of themselves.

Yup, their reputation has been badly damaged. They can salvage it I think, but it'll take some effort on their part.
