I think the larger figure you're talking about are from Tonka. They have a similar look and arm poses but about 10-11-inches tall maybe. Love the Adventure People. Had a lot of sets when I was a kid before switching to Star Wars and GI Joe.

My Mother purchased me the "Green Clear Plastic Android Girl" at K-MART and she fit right in with my STAR WARS/G.I.JOE Figures.

The left hand was for steering wheel, the other hand for the stick shift.

I just replaced my childhood Tonka no3 firetruck, and it came with 2 firemen,which I had forgotten about,it was the early 80s after all

I remember the Scuba tanks for the figures, and if you put it on a figure and place them in the water at the right angle the figure would float....

Put a drop or two of clear Pledge floor wax to stiffen up the neck joint.

Oh wow I f**king love adventure people, when I was about 9 I had a helicopter and two paramedic action figures oh my. Alas I no longer possess them they are but ancient memories! They don't make em like they used to. jokes aside they were in fact my dad's but given to me great toys for sure.
