- Kiesel is making moves in 2023, and I am so excited to get into what they are brewing. Kiesel have added new bridge options for their Delos guitars. Including a Floyd Rose, and Evertune option.
Kiesel's Lyra guitar now has a bevel delete option which will round the edges of this body shape.
Also a new fade option has come from Kiesel where you can fade between two different colors as a finish on your guitar. Kiesel will now offer fretboard color staining. So if you want a green fretboard you can absolutely do that!
And of course how could I forget Kiesels newest body shape. The Thanos guitar. The Thanos body shape is for a headless styled guitar, and kind of reminds me of the avenger body shape from Schecter so I am all for this!
Like I said Kiesel is making moves in 2023, and I am all for it!

The two customization options I'd most like to see made available are a neck width of 44 mm at the nut and a compound radius of 9.5" to 14".
Oh nice! That would be pretty cool options to have!

Partnering with Fishman pickups for bass! I was going to order a Zeus 7, but Fishman doesn't make pickups for 7 string bass that I know of.
Ever see that Lyra with a holdsworth headstock? The 2x4. Try it out in the builder. It's like a better EBMM
Kiesel is getting just ridiculous. I never would have imagined guitar companies doing what kiesel is doing back when I started. Highest quality custom guitars at a reasonable price? Why dont all companies do this. Like why... I couldnt even imagine if I could get a prestige ibanez with my perfect set of specs. It would cost 8900$ Its just so awesome what theyre doing. Although, Im still waiting for them to accommodate my very specific desired specs. My specs seem like a common sense no brainer for any shredder but yet my favorite companies dont make a guitar with these specs. My specs, more short scale options with floyd rose. Sustainer and bareknuckle. Seems like a no brainer right? Well they dont make them this way anywhere I guess... Lyra would be their best looking model minus the pickguard.
Kiesel´s prices are so low, compared to other semi-custom shops, because they don´t have a middleman.
You order and buy the instrument directly from the factory.
If you try to order any other big name custom shop guitar ( Fender, Gibson, PRS, ESP, Jackson Mayones etc.) you can´t do it yourself.
You have to do it, via an official dealer who will put the order in for you.
And of course the dealers will mark up the price, to make a profit for themselves.
The downside for us overseas customers is: we have to pay import taxes on top of the actual price, but that´s not Kiesel´s fault.
Yeah man brands like Kiesel, and Balaguer Guitars are doing it right forsure! I haven't gotten a Kiesel yet, but I think I see one in my future haha

Might want to check out Balaguer Guitars. They might actually have the specs you're looking for. Or at least most of them. You could also try calling Kiesel if you haven't already, and see if they could make something with those specs.
My band strictly uses evertune in the studio. Makes everything so much faster, and sounds better. Using a solar baritone 6 for the main rhythms, and an ibanez prestige 7 with evertune as well. My band plays 8 string EAEADGBE so we have to switch off haha.
That all sounds awesome to me man! I'd love to check out an evertune soon hopefully. I just started into the world of 8 strings, and even from 7 strings I have to get used to it 😅

Nice woods, nice axe, nice PU's, but I hope they NEVER get rid of NECK-THRU AXES, basses and 6-strings, which was what always set Carvins APART in the First place, at least for ME. PASS on the Floyd-ey looking things, and Strat copies are Nice, but kinda....DONE. No matter HOW Fancy. Rather see their unique, NECK-THRU guitars and basses, cuz they've ALWAYS offered FREE LEFTYS, so they were my GO-TO guys. I don't Need a lot of the fancy stuff. Always FAB build quality, no matter WHAT the Model!!
