What can someone do to improve the odds of getting hired at kiesel. My dream job. Couldnt even imagine how happy id be learning and making top quality kiesel guitars. I have finish carpentry skills and moderate guitar tech experience and 20 years of hobbying.
You gotta first move to the San Diego area then go in for an interview. Jeff stated that he won’t hire non locals as he can’t depend on sone to move to work for him.
@@lewisderfuss7537 lol I realize the unlikeliness of landing such a job. Probably have better luck winning the lottery. I reside in the bay area though but have been really wanting to move and try something else out for the last decade. Could you imagine though, if you love carpentry painting guitars and customer service. This is literally the only experience I have is finish carpentry painting customer service, plus machinist and light electrical and other construction trade skills. Plus if youre a guitar nerd spec and guitar detail nerd. But What else would a person want to do. Ugh. Though i could tell Jeffs foreman would probably just tell any nooby to throw a mask on and sand for the next 7,000 hours lol.
Thanks for the presentation. Does hanging the guitar on the wall vs. leaving it on a guitar floor stand make a difference in terms of wear and tear?
Can I ask what was the thinking behind the Kiesel scallop shape? Its very flat & angular compared to traditional hand routed scallops.
So is Richlight a no-no for scalloped boards??
I'd love to have the opportunity to order a custom 6-string baritone Kiesel...

Does kiesel ask for setup specs? Or just E standard for all guitars?
You can request a certain setup when ordering with one of our sales guys.
Not worth breaking the bits every two boards.. get rid of Rich lite multi scale
Seems perfect for fretless
